OK bit of a long shot this, but in October 2022 I was on holiday in Mallorca with my family when we witnessed a cyclist get hit by a car or van which did not stop, on a coastal road (I think it was near Pollença). We stopped and my partner (trained first aider) went to help as did several others. My partner spoke the most English so talked to the guy and supported until the ambulance arrived. His name was mark and he was from Truro and was there with his wife but she wasn’t with him at the time. It was quite shocking to witness. We’ve sometimes spoken about this and wondered if he’s OK - so Mark, if you’re out there, are you OK?

Heading here tomorrow morning with small kids, any recent sightings we should watch out for, or any tips?

I can smell smoke and the air looks kind of smoggy / foggy outside (south west Sheffield). Does anyone know of any fires/wildfires burning nearby or know any reliable sources to find out? I couldn’t find anything online like a working up to date wildfire map to confirm.

Hi all we have three strictly indoor cats. But 2/3 are often escaping (due to small kids not closing doors / one cat can open doors) which is stressful for us, the cats and of course local wildlife.

We’re considering getting a catio so they can spend time outside securely without causing harm or coming to harm themselves. But I’d like to know from those with experience if seeing the cats / them being in proximity deters or frightens local birds or seems to stress them because we don’t want that. Although of course it’s better than the stress of a loose cat. TIA.
