I was fighting for a higher rank than this person, this is for the subject is legal. We had the same average in unit 3 for 95%. U4 so far my avg is 90%. Her average is 94%. She basically got an insane perfect sac score. Thus that got her avg above me. There is only 1 sac left. Essentially its likely that I cant beat her in sac ranking. FML.

So I just bombed a SAC, I am actually cooked now rip my 90%+ avg and my 45+ ss dreams in Biology

so for u3 I got 90% 90%. U4 I got 95%.

Recently I did a SAC and I think i genuinely bombed it like around maybe low 80%. I am so done, the questions were actually worded so bad it was genuinely an unfair test.

If I am around rank 5, I'm averaging around I think avg 90 in u3. And for u4 Ive only completed one sac and got 95%. My biology cohort is insane like all the smartest kids are doing the subject. Compared to the past years our cohort is definitely stronger cohort, said from both the biology teachers. If I got this mark last year, I would be ranked 1 or 2. If I'm aiming for 45+ what exam scores would be good. For reference, 2023- 7 people for 40+. Roughl

The kids ranked high in my cohort is like actually studying so much, on past vcaa exams they are averaging high 90's.

We need to talk. Yes I know that is usually your line, but recently you have been showing up in my life like a tradie who promises to show up at 7 in the morning but instead pops by at lunchtime with no tools, no plans and certainly no intention of following the blueprint. You have always given me a crumpled-up paper saying “trust me” and foolish me trusts you every time.

Before I start laying my bricks, I would like to get to know you, since if “falling in love is meant to take lovers to a new and different place”, why is it that everytime you spin me around in circles, manipulating me to believe I have made any progress.

This letter is not a breakup.
But so I can get to understand you and what you value.

Lets start with the ground you give me to build upon. You always insist all your forms comes from a solid foundation. You reward open communication, trust, loyalty and most scary of all being honest. Being honest about my true identity, not the one that says “I’m okay”, not the perfect self I present to the public but

True.
You.

The one that eats a tub of ice cream for therapy
The one that forgets to brush his teeth in the morning
The one who has its bedroom looks like its been through a tornado.

Maybe that’s what I have been doing wrong, not being honest to you. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been able to grow and transform.

But the truth is, you don’t require perfection. You don’t show up to people who has it all together, but to those who are still figuring things out.

Or in my instagram highlight reel —
You don’t come to the girl who has her notebook perfectly highlighted. You show up in self love when I forgive myself for making a mistake. You show up in family love when my parents still care for me even though they say I’m impossible to deal with. You show up in friendship when someone quietly sits next to me so I don’t feel alone.

And through that I have learnt that you have helped me to change my perception on doubting self worth to loving myself, by enduring hardship together with me.

And even so, I used to put up a grand cinematic performance to try to gain your recognition, love.

However, I have come to realise you aren’t in the 100 roses, not the dramatic speech but in those smaller gestures that accumulate to a deeper deliverance on love.

You’re in the message “I arrived home safely”
You’re in the “I made your favourite coffee”
You’re in the “Are you okay” or “how was school”

Only then I have realised — you’re not intensity, you’re consistency.

And despite all efforts the house still collapsed. But it doesn’t come down in flames. It is disguised as transformation, a new beginning.

Only when the roof caves in, was I able to see for the first time what is behind those walls, only was I able to see the unrealistic expectations set upon me.

You have to get the perfect grades to go to a good university
You have to look perfect, your presentations matter
You have to study for good grades but not too much or students would label you a nerd
You have to have a hobby and put effort in but not too much effort or you will be a “try-hard”

Only through collapse was I able to learn the value of honesty, only through collapse was I able to find my true values, only through collapse was I able to find a new blueprint to build a new house, one that will transform my life. So for that I thank you.

I have learnt that
You aren’t magic
You aren’t about the fireworks
Or even the large grand gifts
You are in the small but meaningful gestures.
You are in the destructive but necessary actions

So I am ready to build a house…
But not alone — so lets build one together, and bring the right tools next time!

I don't understand how I am supposed to find my ranking. I mean I got the tip of high (not very high band) for a 90% in biology. I know 100% that someone got 100% and someone got 97.5%, and someone else got a 90%. How else am I supposed to find out?

Hey Guys I go to xinjinshan and bombed one sac getting 50%. Im really nervous as its one of my 3/4 subjects and I did so bad. There goes all hopes of getting a high 30. I genuinely feel like everything I worked for went to nothing.

FYI first sac was 80%
