They have are trying to have me dispense with no training???

Listen. I don’t have a problem dispensing it’s my job and I’m there to do my job BUT how am supposed to do a job when I haven’t even been told the basics of it??(This was on the schedule so it could just be a mistake on the system) Could I be like “aye yall gotta train me first” or is this just a thrown to the wolves moment. Just trying to figure out what to expect,I’m gonna still do it because what else am I going to do but damn. Also Im kinda stupid so it might not be a good idea for the company to do that😭

(Also before yall start calling me lazy or saying I don’t want to work this isn’t me saying “I don’t want to dispense because it’s hard” or “I just want to pick” I would actually like to start switching between the different roles but not without training)

Ways to get your pick rate up?

I’m around a 80 overall and just wondered if there was things I could do to help it out. I don’t really care about having it that high(neither do my TLs) but I would like to get it up some so I don’t feel useless😭

Is it fair to put PPTO in and come in an hour later after working a 12h shift yesterday?

Basically I’m asking is was it stupid to take and hour and come in at 9 instead of 8. I went in at 8am yesterday and worked till 8pm. We had a bunch of picks so I offered to stay over and help out and also to get some overtime.

What’s going on??

All of last week and alittle bit before was so so busy 2k picks at every drop just crazy. This week there’s nothing. It’s literally gotten to the point we are only getting maybe 500-700 picks at most. Just find it odd with the fluctuations. Anyone know why this happens?

People not picking up after their dogs.

I’ve been living in my complex for around a month now and the one thing I’ve noticed is everyone with dogs just lets them use the bathroom anywhere and everywhere. I wouldn’t mind that much if they just picked up after them but they will genuinely let them use the bathroom right on the “yard” next to my apartment and won’t clean it up so I’ve dealt with it smelling like dog poop right next to my apartment. Just here to vent and hear maybe some opinions. Thanks

How to respectfully tell my TL no before I become her yes man??

So I’ve been here for almost a month and after the first two weeks one of my team lead is constantly asking me to do extra before I go on break or on lunch. And I don’t mind doing it here and there but it’s getting to the point I don’t even want to ask her to go on break because I know there’s gonna be something she’s gonna ask for me to do. I don’t want to be rude but I want to respectful tell her no so that it’s clear I’m not her new yes man. This is the same TL that asked me to come in on my day off two days after my SIL died because I went home early on the day she died. Idk just need some advice because I’ve not worked at a corporation or somewhere that I don’t know the owners/boss. Just kinda feel like I’m gonna get taken advantage of if I don’t put my foot down now.

There should really be a limit on how much can be in one tote.

Tell my why I get a order with 4 24packs of Diet Coke and then they wanted to order a bunch of other stuff which isn’t on the customer but why does the system except me to fit things in a tote that clearly won’t fit in the tote. And then add MORE.

Just started 2 weeks ago and they are already cutting my hours?

I just started last month on the 24th and they sent out the schedule for the upcoming weeks and I’m not scheduled for an entire week? I just moved to a new city and need money in order to pay my bills. I was hired as full time with full availability yet I’m not getting hours and they are already asking me to come in on my day off? I’m just kind of at a loss and would really appreciate any help or advice on what to do.

Just moved into an apartment for the first time any tips or advice?

So my boyfriend and I just moved into our first apartment 1b 1ba and I was wondering what some of the things we should know,so we can have a good experience,be aware of our neighbors and be courteous to everyone in the community. We are used to living in a house with my in laws so we’ve just never experienced this type of living and want to make sure we don’t do anything that’s shunned upon by the apartment community😭💀
