Self indulgent coining: Illeic

Illeic: an individual who refers to themselves in the third person, using their preferred 3rd person pronouns rather than I/me/myself. For example, if somebody asks “are you okay?“ someone who is enbyillec would reply, “yeah, they’re okay.” etc.

based on illeism, the practice of referring to oneself in the third person (e.g., using one's own name or "he/she" instead of "I" or "me"). Coined by Samuel Taylor Coleridge in 1809 from the Latin ille ("he"), the habit spans from ancient rhetoric to modern psychology.

illefem: a version of illeic where the individual uses she/her or any feminine pronouns

illemasc: a version of illeic where the individual uses he/him or any masculine pronouns

enbyille: a version of illeic where the individual uses they/them, or any other neutral pronouns

illeneo: a version of illeic where the individual uses any neopronouns (unless any other ille terms fit better to describe those neopronouns)

Is there even a term for this?

basically, I feel like a new person every year. like, actually a new person. not metaphorically, I actually feel like a different being than I did the previous year. is this something relating to neurodiversity? or am I a completely new case here, because I can’t find anything on the internet.

HI HI I’M NEW HERE

in case it’s unclear, my pronouns change because I am genderfluid, so just ask in an active conversation, but default to it/its if unable to ask

if you don’t know what any of the terms in my about me section are, I’ll give you a short overview of the lesser known ones.

Neos (short for neopronouns): a category of new or modern third-person personal pronouns, such as xe/xemze/hir, or fae/faer—designed to be gender-neutral or non-binary alternatives to traditional "he/him," "she/her,"

xenos (short for xenogenders): a non-binary gender identity that cannot be defined by human understandings of gender (such as masculinity, femininity, or androgyny). Instead, it uses metaphors like animals, plants, objects, or concepts (e.g., "star," "cloud," "soft") to describe one's inner experience of gender

Therian: an individual who identifies as a non-human animal on a personal, non-physical level—spiritually, psychologically, or emotionally.

Otherkin/kin: individuals who identify, either partially or entirely, as non-human

Otherhearted: an identity describing someone who feels a deep, involuntary emotional or spiritual connection to a non-human entity (animal, character, or object) without identifying as that creature

otherlink: a voluntary, chosen identity where an individual identifies as a non-human entity, such as an animal, object, or character
