I’m planning to cover McLeodganj, Dharamkot, Naddi, Gallu and Kharota in the second week of June on a scooty/bike.

I’m a beginner at hill riding, so I wanted honest advice about the roads and weather conditions there.

Main concerns:

steep uphill/downhill roads

rain and slippery turns

fog/low visibility

skidding risk

narrow mountain roads

Are these routes safe/manageable for a beginner rider in June, or would cabs be a better idea?

Also, which roads or stretches should I avoid as a beginner?

Any practical tips would help.
