Priority at a crossroads with different signs

Hi all, just had a difference of opinion with another driver at a crossroads and, while I’m sure I’m in the right, I couldn’t find a definitive answer in the Highway Code.

Both cars were entering a crossroads from the minor roads. I was going straight through and he was turning right.
However, because my road has a Stop sign and his is a Give Way, he asserted that he had priority.

From what I can see, the only difference in these is that I had to come to a complete stop before entering the junction (I did) and he only has to slow to ensure there is no oncoming traffic on the major road before he enters; but I could not see anything which says this affects priority for turning.

Can anyone with experience of this situation and/or legal knowledge please advise?

Hi all,

I’m trying to find a game I played a lot on the Amiga to the point that I mapped out the entire thing on graph paper. I remember so many details clearly but not the name and Google hasn’t helped either.

You start on a spaceship. I remember the manual having a story about your character putting themselves into cryosleep and making patterns on their arms with the black circles that the injection sites left behind. There was a ship’s cat who dies in an accident and is buried “at sea”. The ship undergoes some disaster and is forced to stop at a mining outpost for repairs.

You start the game on the ship and, of you open the ship’s computer up you find several circuit boards with blown chips. The point of the game is to find replacements so you can leave.

You need to rest, eat and drink to manage your stats. You can find projectile weapons, laser weapons, grenades, etc and ammo/batteries for the weapons. Each level you descend has new monsters. The top levels have security droids, lower levels have various alien critters.

The entire game is a maze of corridors with one or two ladders taking you down to the next level. It was 3D.

Any help to find it would be massively appreciated.
