Hi all, Im going to be studying at UvA and my girlfriend will be studying at Leiden next semester. We are both taking one year MSc’s. Both in mid-20s and from Scandinavia.

Looking for housing has been quite tough, we are trying to find something inbetween our schools, 40minute-ish commute to UvA and Leiden.
We will be taking student loans, and I will also be working part time remotely. We also have pretty good savings and are willing to pay up to 2500 - 3000euros per month for the right place. Trying to avoid studio appartments or anything under 30m2.

Have mostly been looking at places in Harleem, any other spots you would reccomend looking at?

Ps. We have lived abroad before and have good reccomendations from our previous landlord.

I did not get admitted to the Msc program i applied to, reserve number 36.

I applied to some freestanding courses instead, if i were to take them, would they boost my chances of getting in next year and would i be able to transfer the credits (courses are same topic as the Msc)?
