Hola
Sé que Valencia tiene muchos estudiantes latinos, entre ellos venezolanos. Quisiera aportar mi granito de arena. ¿Saben si aquí están aceptando donaciones, medicamentos o voluntarios en alguna organización o comunidad en Orlando?

This may sound like a dumb question, but has anyone here completed the A.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management?
What kind of jobs did you get afterward, and what do you actually do in your day-to-day work?
I recently finished my A.A., but I'm still having a hard time finding a job. My advisor recommended that I pursue an A.S. degree so I can gain more practical skills and find a job more quickly.
Hellou
everyone! I'm looking for ideas for my birthday this Wednesday I'm turning 20.
The first crazy idea that came to mind was going skydiving, so I already bought the tickets. We'll see what happens (hopefully I survive... just kidding 😂).
I'm kind of an extrovert/introvert. I don't really like clubs or super busy places (although it depends), so I'm not sure where to go afterward.
I was thinking about going to Disney BoardWalk, Wekiwa Springs, getting a palm reading since I've never done it before and I'm curious to see what they say, or maybe going to a buffet.
So, give me some ideas!
Long text ~Sorry
Hi everyone,
I'm an immigrant who is about to turn 20, and honestly, I have no idea what I want to do with my life.
To be honest, I didn't come to Reddit to make a post and have people analyze me or give me life advice(maybe next time). I came here looking for recommendations on places to visit in Florida.
I'd like to go somewhere that makes me feel like life is worth living. I know a lot of people will say, "You're young, you have plenty of time to figure things out." No. Time waits for no one. I want to start living now and discover who I am and what I want. I want to face the fears that most of us avoid.
I'd love to try things like hiking, rafting, and other outdoor adventures. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I want to feel the same way I did back in my home country when my family and I would go to waterfalls and spend the day there. You'd hear random conversations from strangers that made no sense, but somehow it was all part of the fun.
In short, I'm looking for something connected to nature and a little bit extreme or adventurous. But I'm also open to unusual recommendations places related to witchcraft, mysterious spots, or places that look like they're straight out of a movie.
P.S. This has nothing to do with the main topic, but if you know of any Reddit communities for Hispanic people, please let me know! :))))
Thanks for reading
Hi, does anyone know if there are Portuguese classes available this Summer semester? I want to register for one, but I’m not sure if I’m searching wrong because nothing shows up for me.
Does anyone know a good and affordable portrait artist who can paint family portraits of loved ones who have passed away? My mom doesn’t have any portraits with her father since she lost him, and I want to give her one.
Could someone send me a promo code for “Brightline”? I tried to use the student code, but I don’t have my Valencia ID with me. If anyone knows anything, that would be great. Thanks, please help.
I’ll delete this later. I know it has nothing to do with Valencia.
