So I went to the State Fair and camping this last week. I wouldnt be surprised to see I gained 1 to 1.5 lbs with the calorie averages, but 3.8 lbs? Here are screenshots from my app.

Can this all just be variance from bloating, etc? I have been hiking a lot so maybe muscle growth?

I'm genuinely confused bc Ive been pretty diligent about tracking everything, so I'd expect the scale to reflect that?

Sponsor spoke negatively about NA beers, but I indulge. Should I tell her?

Hi everyone! Been alcohol free for 3.5 years and will occasionally drink na beers, especially in the summer months when out and about at festivals or other social events. I never want more than a couple, and really enjoy the taste. Im not worried about suddenly wanting the real thing either, that hasn't happened at all on my 3.5 years of drinking them. I'll have one or two, feel full and move on.

I switched sponsors about halfway through my sobriety, and I speak with her regularly. Normally I do what she suggests to the best of my ability, but she has mentioned on multiple occasions that na beers are a big no no, and I usually just get quiet. She's said things like "near beer is near my next drunk, etc." And will speak negatively of people who consume it. I can understand for some alcoholics that they may be a trigger, but it really doesn't feel that way for me.

Do I tell her I drink them occasionally? Do I keep it to myself? A group of fellow AA'ers from our home group saw me with one out at a festival over the weekend and I don't want to feel ashamed or like I'm hiding it either.

I, 37F, am frustrated that my partner of 14 years, 43M, can't seem to have a laugh at themselves.

ETA: I think many commenter are missing the part about him dishing it out as well. He teases us about things, but gets bent out of shape when on the receiving end.

ETA 2: I didnt want to write a novel. The examples I chose in my original post may be misleading. Here are some of hubby's recent hot takes about me: "Dont you watch any shows with people who haven't had plastic surgery?" (Touche. Objectively funny). He also recently asked if I went shopping in my moms closet after a recent shoe purchase. Then later asked if I was bringing the "orthotics" when heading out (Again. Funny but I liked the shoes and thought they were cute) There are more.

I do stupid shit. My family will occasionally chime in and crack a joke about it. Most times, I usually laugh it off and move about my day. For example, my girls tease me for watching trashy Hollywood reality TV and will pull the skin on their face back and make duck lips when they see it on in the living room. I laugh at them because its funny. I realize the show is objectively terrible but its a guilty pleasure of mine. My partner makes fun of my driving (I've hit curbs more times than I care to count) and has a list of meals he'll recount in horror from when Ive tried new recipes over the years. Again, I realize the jabs are in jest and my family loves me, its fine.

My partner, on the other hand, can not take a joke. If teased over something minor, he gets defensive. To relate to my tv show example, he likes to watch animated shows. I'll crack jokes about it from time to time and he launches into a tirade about how they are well rated shows and blah blah blah. But objectively, the anime characters say and act weird sometimes (heavy breathing, over dramatization, etc) and if you're not following the storylines, its funny. There are other things, too. He does this "shuffle" with his feet that we sometimes will tease him about, or he constantly "throws away" the dust pan when sweeping (adhd brain).

Teasing about these things fall within the realm of friendly family banter in my opinion. We all give. And we all receive. He teases us all from time to time too. None of it is done from a mean spirited place. But my partner doesnt view it that way. He says we should respect him if he doesnt want to be teased about something, which in theory feels fair, but this seemingly takes everything off the table due to his sensitive nature.

Am I being unreasonable to be frustrated by this? How would you handle this?
