How to insure permitted driver when mom & dad have different households?

Looking for some guidance; my daughter is a permitted driver and is listed on my auto policy as such. When she drives with me, it is only in my vehicle and with me as the adult supervising.

I am the parent with physical custody, her dad lives in a separate household and carries his own auto insurance. He allows her to drive his vehicle on occasion well when she visits.

Does Dad also need to carry her as a permitted driver on his own auto insurance policy?

The reason I ask is because I do not want my auto insurance to be held liable for damages that may occur while my daughter is driving with him. Also, they are planning a long road trip in a week and my daughter has said she will be driving on this trip in a car that her father will rent (presumably, so he can sleep). I do not want my auto policy to cover this or any damage/accidents in the rental car simply because he chose to allow a teenager to drive (that would not be my choice).

Do I tell Dad that his auto insurance needs to reflect coverage of our daughter and ask for proof before they depart as a way to cover myself if the rental car is wrecked?

Holiday plans? Nope.

I f*cking hate holidays that fall on the weekends. It's so much better when they come on a Tuesday, so Monday is normal and we can get back to routine on Wednesday. Long holiday weekends suck. Everything is closed for 3 days, everyone is occupied with their family and friends. I loathe having to engage in conversation "Do any have any fun plans for the weekend?" Nope. Just waiting for it to be over so we can all move on. End of vent.

Advice for a short Puerto Rico visit

Hello friends! My mother and I are departing from Puerto Rico for a Viking Cruise at the end of February. I suggested we come in a couple of days earlier to see the city and participate in a tour.

What suggestions do you have if we arrive on a Sunday and our Cruise departs on a Tuesday? We enjoy city tours, food education, local history and museums. We also like to stay in boutique-style hotels to enjoy the charm of the city we visit.

All your suggestions are welcome! Thank you

What to do with mound at Tree?

What do I do with this mound at my tree in my yard? It grows a lot of weeds and we want to put something low maintenance that comes back annually.

I was thinking of seeding it heavily with wildflowers or grasses because the mound is very rooted from the tree and I want something that will take hold easily.

We live in Kansas City, MO and we do not irrigate our lawn (however, I will water this spot to get something to initially grow)

Thanks for your advice!

Topomax, side effects

I am 46 yo Female and on AM & PM Topomax 50 mg and was surprised to hear that not only is the tingling sensation I've been experiencing in the bottoms of my feet perhaps related to this med, but that it also increases brain fog. Yikes!

I've been under an immense amount of life stress lately and also in perimenopause and to have this med also add another level of brain fog has left me really having to focus too hard everyday to just complete simple tasks. Does anyone else have this same experience on this medication?

EDIT: so if I want to get off of this, do I need to go down to AM & PM 25 mg of the Topomax or can I just stop. Obviously, I'm getting a message into my provider as well about this, but has anyone else had this experience stopping this med?

I also had a 12 pound unexplained weight loss last month and I thought it was the stress. This is definitely very concerning.
