Customer support is trash AI now?

So they replaced the support team with an AI chat bot. It just goes in circles asking for the same information. I filed a warranty claim, it was accepted, I returned the controller, I have a tracking number and email confirmation that they received it over a week ago. And now nothing. No replacement, no refund. They just took my controller and closed the ticket. I opened a new support ticket and they asked for my email and zip code. I gave it to them., also included the screenshot of email confirming the return was received with the tracking number. They sent an email asking for my email and zip code or the tracking number for the replacement. There is no tracking number for the replacement because they never sent one. I asked for a refund. They asked for my email and zip code again and “any email or screenshot of tracking confirmation” I already sent all that info. Now we are just going in circles and I’m getting pretty pissed off. Why am I paying the backbone subscription to get the extended warranty if I’m not actually getting a replacement or even getting to talk to a human?

New Backbone type C is lower quality??

I love backbone, I had one with the lightning connection for my iPhone and used it daily for years. Then I upgraded to an iPhone with the type C usb connection port and so upgraded to the newer version of the backbone. But even tho my older model still functions perfectly the newer one has been nothing but problematic.

The left joystick stopped working and so did one of the directional buttons on the Dpad after only 10 months of use. So I submitted a warranty return request and within two days it was approved and they sent me a “new” controller. Only it wasn’t new 😡 it was CLEARLY a used device cause it was disgustingly dirty with gunk in every button and a sticky residue on the back! So I contacted customer support and returned that gross used one and was sent another controller.

This one suspiciously wasn’t factory sealed either but did look pristine so I used it for about 11 months. Now I have the same problem: left joystick doesn’t register when I tilt forward and the -> on the D pad doesn’t register AT ALL. I tried recalibration and factory reset but it didn’t fix it so I made another customer service request since I have an extended warranty due to the backbone subscription.

But it’s been 4 days since I submitted the warranty return request and customer support just completely stopped responding to me. We had a back and forth email going all day then they asked where I’m located and I said “California” and it’s been crickets ever since. It’s only been 4 days but the first time they responded within hours and I had my new one shipped to me two days after requesting the warranty return.

But this is TWO controllers failing in very similar ways each in less than a year. And I’m not rough with my controllers! I don’t play shooting games or high intensity games at all, literally just cozy games and ps5 rpgs. I don’t throw my controller into my bag, I don’t even travel with it, it lives on my coffee table when not in use and I’ve never dropped it. And my older model still works perfectly.

So has anyone else noticed a lower quality to the new models?? Or a lower quality of customer support?

Not the best anime by majority opinion, the one YOU fell in love with. And tell me why.

I know what the “top” reviewed anime of all time are but I wanna know about some obscure random ones that people found and connected with despite them not being in the internet’s top ten best anime list.

Any salons in Long Beach that specialize in acrylic nails? NOT gel x, not builder gel, not powder dipped. I just want a decent affordable set of acrylic nails. The kind of salon where the French Tip is an actual white nail tip not just white painted polish on top. I’ve had several very bad experiences with salons in Long Beach, like increasingly BAD:

One insisted I try gel x with the plastic nail that covers your entire nail and it felt like it squeezed my fingers too tight and my fingers were sore for DAYS. I hated it. Had to get them removed after about 5 days.

Then another salon that I had been getting good acrylic nails done at for YEARS pressured me into trying gel x again (3 different women told me repeatedly to try gel x insisting it was better!) and the plastic nail did not fit my nail and left gaps on the sides and big gaps under the nail that they just filled in at the END of a 2 1/2 hour session (just nails no pedicure) leaving me with horrible chunky ugly nails and they over filed the sides causing pain and sensitivity. It was SO BAD I actually cried when I got home and called them to say I wanted them removed and refunded and they said they were booked solid for the next 3 days so I went somewhere else to get them removed that day and when I went back for my refund they only gave me $50 back from the $120 charge because they had painted little Xmas lights and an Xmas tree on the nails and I guess the design alone was $70?? Obviously I never went back!

Then I went back to an old salon I used to go to years ago and even tho I made an appointment and specifically requested a new acrylic set they were VERY unhappy that I didn’t want gel x and the older woman seemed annoyed she had to do acrylic and not only did she do an incredibly messy job leaving chunks of acrylic stuck to my skin under the nails she also nearly cut the tip of my pinky off when she clipped my nails! Like I was bleeding A LOT and honestly I should have just got up and left then but i was too nervous and it was the day before I was leaving town for vacation so I didn’t know if I could find another place last minute. I was picking bits of acrylic out from under my nails for several days and it scabbed under my pinky nail.

I’m hoping there’s SOMEONE out there who still gets acrylic nails and can recommend a good nail tech or salon in Long Beach who won’t damage my nails or try to pressure me into something other than acrylic nails.
