Questions about Camera Bodies, Low Light Settings, and other Questions about Cameras, Lens, and Subject Photography.

Hi my friend is very confident in my abilities as a photographer I have ADHD so I use it as a hobby for many things Nature, Cars, Cosplay, Etc. a month ago they asked if I could photograph them at the Atlanta Aquarium at a Night Party for the opening to Momo con.

I said yes of course as I really wanted to do so and the opportunity to photograph people who both like my work and get practice in was a golden opportunity I don't usually get.

Here's the thing, I want to do them right even if I'm doing this for free I want to give it everything Ive learned but I have questions for the community that knows better then me.

I'm assuming I'll be in a Low Lighting setting,.typically and for the last 25 years I've used my Rebel T2I and it's standard lens as well as a 75mm-300mm lens, it doesn't do well with darker settings and while I'm going to bring it I'd like to rent a camera body that is compatible with lens I have as it'll be more cost effective ($45-75 for seven days, all I need is it for 4).

I've loved this little camera for 15 years but I wanna try something more modern with better resolutions and ability to handle darker settings as well as natural light as I am assuming I can't bring in my LED panel with me for the safety of the sea creatures.

Question 1: what is a good camera body? What's something that will meet my lighting needs that won't leave a lot of noise

Question 2: for indoor and a variety of full body and mid portrait shots, what are some lens I should consider renting? If I did rent any.

Question 3: what are some poses I can try to relax my friend as she can be shy and very unsure of her body positivity? Are there any good examples someone can share via a link that I can draw inspiration from?

Question 4: what challenges should I expect from yalls experience?

Question 5: how can I relax my friend and get them to believe in the final results?

Question 6: what are things I should avoid?

Any awnsers are appreciated.
