Just discovered something interesting: "Reduce transparency and blur" actually hurts performance, contrary to what we thought.
Based on my long-term experience using smartphones, I just noticed a pretty interesting thing.
As it turns out, enabling "Reduce transparency and blur" in the Accessibility settings actually makes swipe and touch gestures more laggy. I tested this by going into Developer Options and turning on "Profile HWUI rendering" to check the bars.
For the longest time, we've completely misunderstood this accessibility setting. If you tamper with these options, it actually degraded the phone's performance.
In conclusion: it's best not to toggle any of these features in the Accessibility settings unless you absolutely need them, unless you want your phone to slow down and lose performance.
