How bad is it? How am i even walking with this level of injury?

My MRI report is the following:

· There is evidence of a subacute complete mid portion patellar tendon tear, with granulation tissue at the tear site. No associated patella alta.

· There is associated tearing of the inferior portions of the medial and lateral patellar retinacula, related to the patellar tendon rupture, preferentially involving the medial patellar retinaculum.

· Complete mid substance anterior cruciate ligament tear with associated anterior tibial translation.

· Complete distal MCL tear, with findings suggestive of partial healing of the distal MCL fibers due to the pes anserine tendons. This ligament demonstrates mild laxity, concerning for continuing instability. No Stener's like lesion. There is an associated partially healed posterior oblique ligament injury.

· Posterolateral corner injury, with a grade 1 strain type injury of the lateral collateral ligament near its femoral attachment, grade 1 strain type injury of the popliteus muscle, arcuate ligament injury, and disruption of the popliteomeniscal fascicles. The main stabilizing posterolateral corner structures are still intact.

· Complete radial tear within the posterior horn lateral meniscus, with complex tearing and maceration of the adjacent meniscus. There is associated disruption of the popliteomeniscal fascicles. The peripheral extrusion of the body lateral meniscus suggests deficient lateral meniscal function.

· Low-grade partial tear involving the posterior cruciate ligament.

· Moderate joint effusion.

I still retain leg extension, and do long standing shifts without any pain. Its been 2.5months since the original injury. Isn't it a bit too late for the doctors to not notice?

Had a bike accident 1.5months ago and tore my patellar tendon partially, and I am scared because of all the delays.

Hi I had a bike accident. I heard something pop while falling and impact. Felt my knee is a bit bent. So i tried to get up and jerk my knee back. Got to the ER. I was told to do a straight leg raise which i couldn't do. They tried to do an ultrasound but couldn't do it because the ultrasound guy was denying my ultrasound after 4pm because he was about to go home. The orthopedic doctor saw me after 10hrs, forced me to do a straight leg raise and because she was forcing so much i got angry and did it. I got released saying I will get a call from a sports clinic, and they don't think it's a full rupture and don't need surgery. They suspected a patellar dislocation that à when i tried to jerk something back in my knee.

I got back home and got an appointment with the sports clinic after 4 weeks. I couldn't do a straight leg raise again. They did a POCUS ultrasound. Said my tendons are fine. So I was relieved. Wanted me to do a proper formal ultrasound to be a 100% sure. At week 5 i got an ultrasound and the report said i have a partial tear. May even be a high grade tear. Need MRI. Went back to the doctor at week 6 because they don't have an appointment at week 5. And the doctor said I'm gonna do an ultrasound. Still her gut feeling says its a patellar dislocation that caused some tear specifically because the report said medial tibial region had tear, and don't need surgery.

I have an upcoming appointment at week 8 on the MRi. And week 9 i go back for an appointment with the doctor.my classes start in September. And i am almost in. I can't do this in-between my semester at university.

I can walk without crutches. Can't do a straight leg raise when lying down but can when I am sitting down hanging my leg. So while sitting i can straighten it against gravity and raise it which i can't while lying down. I can get up from the chair without crutches or even without holding doing 50/50 load. I am scared of the surgery. Also kind of frustrated because of how long they are taking.

Final Decision-date-In progress meaning?

What does this mean other than the obvious it's still in progress. Got this in the morning yesterday. This is for a study permit extension in the same DLI. I haven't gotten a new update since yesterday, so kinda anxious.

Study permit extension anxiety.

Hi, I am currently worried about my study permit extension. I am at the University of Alberta astrophysics Bsc.

Credits left for my degree: 21 credits(7courses) out of 120.

Full time status: I maintained full time status throughout and have satisfactory standing. (Provided official transcripts).

Tuition remaining: 0$. (Provided tuition review letter from university). Paid 108k$.

.

Financial sponsor: My Dad(showed 29k fixed deposits in bank for 1+yrs), Me(8.5k) and my Research stipend(10k over the summer).

Potential Flags:

  1. I had moved from Bsc Hons in Astrophysics to BSc Major in Astrophysics because my GPA dropped below 3.0 to a 2.6. This didn't cause any interruptions in my study and happened during the summer after my 2nd year. But didn't loose my student status in the university even for in between. Since my GPA increased to 3.3, I did research with the most famous physicist in the country. I submitted my resume to prove my affiliation with the degree as well(includes multiple research projects).

  2. I put no on the IMM form asking the question did I ever take an designated english assessment test. I technically did and submitted it in my initial application but its been 4yrs from that. So I though it isn't valid and I put no. Would that be a cause for them to reject my application or put a case for misrepresentation. Honestly I didn't mean to but i thought they can't verify it or it isn't even valid so I am worried about it.

  3. I disclosed all my part time during study period and before. And my ISS's RCIC said not to. But i just wanted to be transparent. I also am worried that that they would flag it because i worked on campus as a TA and had an job part time off campus. The off campus I can prove is less than 24hrs under IRCC regulations.

I wanted to ask if these potential flags could be an issue as I am really close to finishing my degree and I really don't want any disruptions in my applications. I would really appreciate it if anyone could review if they could potentially have issues with these.
