Best OEM wheels for ‘15 Q50 AWD Premium

I’m thinking of switching my standard 17” wheels into the larger 19” wheels. Would like to keep things oem for now. I’d like help deciding/ranking the q50 factory rim designs over the years.

Photos are labeled “A” to “E” (bottom left corner) for quick reference (last image is my current q50).

Any other details I should know about doing this switch (e.g. impact on ride quality, performance, best place to buy, etc.) would be welcomed. I’m think of selling my current set of 17” to offset cost.

My new to me 2015 3.7L Premium

Had it for about a week now. $13k, 100k miles (flat) but everything in the car is in immaculate shape (clean carfax, no mods, full service history exclusively at Infiniti dealers, seats & dash show no cracks, engine very smooth and bay clean, etc). Felt like this is one of the cleanest q50. Thoughts?

One thing about the color is called graphite. So it’s supposed to be gray, but I’ve noticed that in certain lighting, it looks green-ish or blue-ish. Is this normal or is there a fading issue? How can I mitigate if so? Most evident in the rear bumper. The windows have a green-ish tint, so maybe that’s what’s contributing to it (?).

As far as mods go, I’d probably make a separate post. For now, minor stuff. I’m getting a better window tint and rear oem spoiler. I’m torn between getting either of the 19” oem wheels from the q50 sport or the keeping current wheels (they’re like brand new, but the rims are so small). Also, should I do chrome delete?

Powertrain-related, I’ve always had the 370z Nismo engine spec in the back of my mind (e.g. 350hp vs current 328 hp). Felt like it’d be a minor and (oem/proven) tune. Anyway, like I said, I’d make a separate post about all that, but yeah mostly I’d like to keep it stock.

First true RWD-based sport sedan (came from 2.0T Accord, had a Model 3 SR for a little bit) and technically first JDM, so pretty excited.

What do you think is fair price for this ‘15 Q50 3.7 AWD?

Premium Trim (so I believe that’s the base model). 100k miles, 1-owner, clean title and no mods. Dealer is asking $15k for it, not including tax and fees. Northeast state.

My gut tells me it’s a bit overpriced (especially given the base trim) , but from what I’ve seen, it also looks like a cleaner q50 than usual (no accidents, unmodified).

Would really appreciate second opinions. Thanks!

Would you take ‘15 Q50 3.7 or an ‘18 Q50 3.0TT?

Having sold my ‘18 Accord 2.0T last Dec, I feel ready now to get back on the sedan space. However, I’m torn between the two q50 given the prices they’re going for. Based on my area (east coast), I’m seeing ‘15 q50 3.7 rwd go for (on avg) ~$10k with ~115k miles. And ‘18 q50 3.0TT rwd go for ~$20k with ~78k miles. Which would you rather take?

Obviously, both powertrains have pros/cons. Part of me wants the 3.7 because it’s a more unique powertrain since it’s no longer made and it’s the classic VQ. But what I liked about my Accord 2.0T was the instant power throughout the rpm curve, and from online reviews, that is exactly what the 3.0TT is all about. Instant power. It also seems like it has the quicker stock 0-60.

**

Also, any thoughts on RWD vs AWD? I’m leaning towards RWD for the classic sport sedan feel, lower complexity, and lighter weight which would presumably translate to better acceleration. I plan to upgrade to quality tires as one of the first things I do.

**
I only plan to own it short-term, likely no more than 10k miles, as I’m looking at a couple of cars in my bucket list down the road. So I don’t need it for 200k, but at the same time, I don’t want to deal with major issues prematurely.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
