I (32F) have never found more purpose in my life than I do being a Mum. I still have 5 months until I go back to work but I feel physically ill thinking about not being with my baby. The thought of leaving her at nursery/daycare every day hurts. How have other Mums coped?

Uncle Vernon mentions in the first book that a train is a funny way to get to a magic school and he’s right. Instead of an hours long train, why don’t they do a larger Knight Bus or train to get the students to school?

This magic vehicle could definitely have come in handy on other occasions too. Maybe instead of the 7 Potters.

How else do you think a magic vehicle would have helped the characters in the story?

I have a specific type of epilepsy called Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. This impacts the part of my brain that deals with storing memories.

When I have seizures, I forget about 4-6 weeks at a time. And at one point, they were happening every month, thus, no memories for a year.

Getting the epilepsy diagnosis took 2 years, so before that, we had no clue what was going on.

I have almost no memories of significantly important moments in my life, my engagement, my best friend’s wedding. I also have completely forgotten nice times like concerts or holidays.

But the worst part is 2025, of which I have absolutely no memories whatsoever. I literally don’t know what happened.

During a seizure, I have absolutely no idea where I am, I won’t recognise my partner, my dad etc. and I will (still, even on medication) have no recollection of the seizure.

I get about a 10 minute warning before one happens where I feel like I’m dreaming, everything feels a bit ‘off’ and I struggle to speak.

There are physical symptoms as well - my hands raise above my head and I smack my lips a lot. Weird 🤷‍♀️

In his DADA class, Lupin explains that nobody knows what a Bogart looks like before it assumes a shape that frightens the person confronting it most.

But later in the series, Mad Eye takes a look inside a cabinet (I think!) and says there’s a Bogart in there.

Do you think the Bogart would have already shape shifted into Mad Eye’s biggest fear inside the cabinet or could he actually see it in its true form?

Note: Because Lupin has to open the wardrobe to see the Bogart in class, I’m making an assumption that they wouldn’t change into the worst fear until they’re let out.

Bonus: What do you think Mad Eye’s Bogart would be?

I’m reading by the bit where Harry’s just been Avada Kedavra’d by Voldemort and wakes up in some sort of limbo Kings Cross. When Harry feels his forehead, his scar is gone and when he sees Dumbledore, he’s alive with his rotten hand completely cured. Yet his crooked nose is still mentioned. If Dumbledore broke his nose while alive, shouldn’t it be completely fine in this limbo place?
