Hi I have to move country’s in the middle of my PhD and I was wondering do you guys recommend online PhDs? What are your thoughts? Are they less valued in industry compared to in person PhDs? Do you recommend any programs?

I’m a American in my second year of undergrad and I was looking to come to the uk to do my PhD. I’m majoring in biology and I don’t have any computer knowledge but I want to do my PhD in bioinformatics and I’ve been working in a computational biology lab for about a year now. What are things I should look to add to my application and how competitive is it for me to pursue this degree? Also I do not wanna apply to proper phds I want to get an integrated PhD so how competitive are those?

Hi I’m a us citizen but I’m living in the uk and am planning on giving birth here but I have some concerns. I’m giving birth privately and I want a highly medicated birth a lot like us ones so I want to be induced right at 39 weeks and I want the epidural right away but I’m seeing in the London hospitals there are always wait times with their epidurals unliked the us where u get them straight away so is there a way I can make sure I get the epidural straight away and do you recommend any hospitals?
