Etiolated?

Hi! I got these lithops a few weeks ago (first picture is how they looked immediately after planting). I'm watering scarcely, there is minimal organic substrate, and I know i should get a deeper pot soon. One of them (in the center of the pot) is still sunken, but it's growing roots.

Anyway, some of them look like they either need to be planted deeper or they're not getting enough light (maybe both?)

I did research the care of these little guys, but I'm a nervous plant owner and want to be sure they're getting what they need.

Do they look okay or should I adjust their lighting/ plant depth/substrate? Thank you so much!

If you're looking for a Data job..

The company I work for is hiring several data roles.

I'm still working on my msda degree, but wanted to share for graduates or those with experience. The market is tough, so we need to help each other out.

Showering Hacks

My kiddo (16) and I are Audhd. They have been REALLY struggling with showering regularly. I don't mean every day or every other day, but like 1-3wks between showers. I understand, I go 2-4 days sometimes because it's a pretty big demand, there's lots of transitions, it's a sensory smorgasbord. We figured out that the value/benefit of showering does not outweigh the effort of showing for them. They're still learning to create systems and approaches that work for their needs and I'm trying to help.... but I'm a little too pragmatic and solution driven.

I'm hoping you all can share some "get myself in the shower" hacks, systems, approaches that help you.

The reasoning they gave is:

Too many steps/ transitions (get stuff together, get undressed, get water set, get in shower, wash all the things, get out, dry off, get dressed, clean up)

Overstimulation- they go from dry and comfy, to wet and hot, wet and cold, mostly dry and new clothes sticking to skin. (I wonder too if having to pick a new outfit and settle into how that outfit feels plays a part here)

Hot temps/getting over heated

Disrupts day and they're too tired in the evening

I am 41 and just make myself do the things... but that's not a very empathetic or useful approach to a kiddo trying to find out what works for them.

Tldr: Please share all your hacks for showering.

Thank you!!!
