Does anyone else's feet fall asleep while driving depending on positions?

My feet have been falling asleep while driving. When that happens, I suddenly don't have hip pain anymore. I'll go a few weeks with bo hip pain. But my feet will continue to fall asleep (i can feel them filling with fluid, cant shake awake) with various activities.

But no hip pain, it goes away.

The last time this happened, I managed to get rid of the feet falling asleep. But then my hip pain came back.

(I have bilateral FAI and a right torn labrum, labrum almost never bothers me anymore painwise, but positions I sit in do)

Has anyone that has pelvic vascular compression syndrome also have hip impingement or labral tear?

I'm hoping my hip impingement problems somehow resolve themselves after we figure this out but I go for an ultrasound for pelvic vascular compression syndrome next week to find out whats going on.

It would explain alot of my pain.

(But I also have a labral tear, that for 85% of the time, doesnt bother me)

Has anyone that started off with hip pain, groin pain etc. Been diagnosed with pelvic vascular compression syndrome?

I have bilateral FAI on xrays, labral tear on mri. But also symptoms of pelvic vascular compression syndrome.

I am scheduling an MRI to take a look.

Have an ultrasound scheduled for this week.

Sex positions that dont hurt?

**have not had surgery, not planning on getting surgery*

I have a right labrum tear but doesnt bother me anymore.

Have bilateral FAI, but nowadays hardly any pain unless I just obviously over do it in a position doing something in life that really bothers it.

I'm really active at my job, walk close to 6-8 miles per day and that keeps everything comfortable.

***however, had sex after sleeping funny, and my "good" leg was in a position held up for awhile and its like my glute muscles are crazy tired/strained or something.

Idk what position can have sex in that doesnt bother hips??

Meds timing and boredom?

I take my vyvanse 60mg in morning between 9 and 10am. I take my booster 10mg around 3 hours after. I get alot done about an hour after I take the vyvanse up until about 4 or 5 hours later. By that time I feel "done" for the day and am bored for most of the rest of the day and dont want to do much. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not. I would like to work on some sort of project at the middle of the day, to be productive or something.

Not sure if my booster timing is just horrible or not?

In edvs, how to keep phone charged 🫠

All the sudden all the edv phones are awful. I keep 3-4 battery backs with me. And it takes forever for them to charge. Do you leave them on power saving all day? I cycle date on and off and leave it off majority of day.

** I also cant stand dark mode - i cant see it in the bright sun!

Bilateral FAI, torn labrum (only one) do you call/go to pt for every small muscle pull/strain?

Sometimes something as simple as sleeping funny causes me to have a pulled muscle. 😂 the easiest way to sleep is on my back. But sometimes ill have a hamstring pain or adductor pain the next day if I sleep funny

Does going from hot to cold/cold to hot bother anyone's legs/labral tears/hips?

I go from inside to outside or vice versa with high humidity or Air conditioning to hot etc my hip or leg or random muscles feel swollen. Other than that I dont have much pain. Just a bit annoying to deal with. But if I stay out for awhile then my body gets used to it and im good. Otherwise I'm stiff for a little bit at first.

Pain management options out there? (without surgery)

I have bilateral FAI, coxa profunda and a right torn labrum. After a few months of PT, I feel a ton better and almost back to baseline. Mostly having weird compensating pain. So now going on a fun track of learning how to fix that.

I am not going to get surgery because I cannot afford not to work. Why put myself through more pain than I am in now I feel.

But on pain management what options are iut there I can speak to an orthopedic doctor about?

They already offered toradol injextion which only can provide 1-12 hours of relief doctor said.

Cortisone injection, possibly some relief but I am already having a good amount.

At home I use salonpas patches and lidocaine patches and most days I have almost no pain. I can still work my highly active job.

I feel like I am slightly stuck in my home, always cleaning. I will clean for an hour to two daily. I only work 2-3 days a week, very physical job so I'm tired some days.

But I have kids and that is also tiring.

But I feel like I dont like leaving the house to go somewhere when I "could" be doing something at home to get something done.

Or going to grocery stores.

Just dont like being around a lot of people and getting ready to go places etc.

Has anyone fixed this part of themselves 😂😂😂

I'd love to go places more but unsure how.

Like I have to plan in advance to do it.
