Does anyone ever revisit r/xcxheads and just peruse the old posts?

Don't get me wrong; I'm really glad we've reclaimed this sub from the perverts and that her fanbase has exploded, but I loved how tight-knit the community was in that era.

The community was a lot less active, but the shitposts were high-quality when we had them, and I feel like the fans were more-or-less on the same wavelength since the lore and narrative and everything wasn't as out-of-control as it is these days.

I contributed a little on my old account, and I kinda miss those days. How I'm Feeling Now was the last era to debut on it, which gives it all a more bittersweet vibe given the themes and context of that era. I'm just really glad it's been archived so I can always go back for a sense of comfort.

Does Lifeweaver not gasp for breath as often anymore?

I've mained him since release (I know), yet it only clocked to me the other day that I don't hear that comical *BWOOAHHHH* as often now when he's low on health.

I just remember it being incessant in his early days to the point of players making fun of it. Have they tuned it down, or am I just taking less damage?

I have a confession

I'm glad Mercy sucks this season. It's been refreshing playing with Anas, Lucios, Zens, and Junos, and even the odd Bap and Brig. Mercy can be such a crutch hero, and I find she makes the other support's job kinda boring. Lifeweaver has to go so on the defensive with her because their skillsets are so similar.

The absolute worst sound in the game

Is the sound of Ana's rifle chipping and sucking away at the Tree of Life.

The sound design is typically great, but whenever I hear that, it totally sets me off and makes me wanna just cancel my ult to stop hearing it. It's so grating.

Are there any particular heroes on the battlefield whom you favour saving when they're critical? Of course everyone deserves to feel the love if they're in danger, but I do gravitate to some heroes.

For example, Baptiste and Tracer are caught in a Sigma ult. I'll save the Baptiste 9 times out of 10 because I think Tracer is annoying, and I don't see enough Baptistes in my games, so I'll do anything to prevent them from switching.
