I have a 2 finger gap and was wondering, for those who healed it, did you guys have pain while doing so? Or any soreness? I’ve been doing exercises for a few weeks that are specifically for diastasis recti and my stomach has felt different, like sore and a bit painful? I’m not sure if I’m making it worse which I shouldn’t be because the exercises I’m doing are more breathing techniques. I need advice please

I have a 2 finger gap above my belly button but I don’t feel a gap underneath my belly button.. is that normal? I have a bit of a pouch and I’m guessing it’s due to the diastasis recti but the bulge is low, so I would think I would have a gap below my belly button as well. I’ve been doing exercises to heal it and it seems to be looking better but the gap doesn’t feel any different

I’m 13 months pp and I just now started to work on healing my 2 finger gap. For the ones who have healed theirs, what did it look like during the healing process? Did your belly slowly go down? Did it go down all at once or from top to bottom? Pictures would be so helpful as well!

For the moms who have healed their diastasis recti, did you and up with loose skin? I have a 2 finger gap and when I suck in my belly it looks like loose skin. I’m not sure if that will tighten up as I heal the diastasis recti or if it’s there to stay? I’ve only had one baby but I’m 5 ft 100 pounds, so my belly was pretty big. I still look a bit pregnant due to the dr which I’m trying to heal. I would love to hear other point of views!
