It doesn't actually make things giant it just makes you smaller and makes your camera smaller aswell, so you can't see anything. The only somewhat viable strategy I have been able to find is to go as small as I can myself, that gives me some room to dodge, but then all the enemies and bosses take 1 trillion hits while I have to dodge every attack perfectly. Last attempt I made it to krabken and I just had to dodge around everything, but he spawns endless minions and I simply don't have a short enough dodge refill to dodge all of their infinite attacks.

I was having a lot of fun with the game but now it's just not fun anymore.

Hello guys just wanted to share a crazy story that happened to me in STALKER ANOMALY.
If you don't care about this longer anecdote then click out now, I don't want to waste your time.

First time trying ANOMALY and I am doing a bandit playthrough, because, I mean, best faction.

Anyways, I had been grinding on max game difficulty and max progression difficulty. Managed to get the heisted exoskeleton and just feeling like a fucking badass. Confirmed killcount of 212 stalkers, mostly military and duty (No offense, you guys shoot first).

Accepted the mission from Sultan to take a swing at getting some document from X-16, since as he so eloquently put it "the other guys piss their pants and think it's haunted".

Pssh, nothing I can't handle, I beat X-16 on master in SoC with a shitty AK and like 90 rounds..

I use my gun to transmogrify a living ecologist into a dead one, and then perform a legitimate transfer of ownership on his white SEVA suit. I also prepare a Saiga I snatched from a Duty member that happened to walk infront of my riflefire... repeatedly.

I then use that disguise to get the PSY helmet from Sakharov.

Now, seeing as I usually have the exoskeleton I don't carry a backpack. Small setback, I'll just have to travel light. I get 40 shells for the Saiga thinking that will be more than enough, then begin my trek to X-16 with nothing but the ecologist suit, a hunting knife, a protein bar, and the Saiga. No meds, no pistol, nothing else, as it would encumber me without a backpack.

Unsurprisingly all goes well up until the point where I turn off the miracle machine, they didn't even have the shooting zombies, only the unarmed slow ones, snorks and bloodsuckers.
I got 3 shells left and they spawn a fucking burer right outside the control room. I know for a fact that burer was not there in SoC, but no sweat, 3 shells to the face and it goes down.

Time to fucking book it back to Dark Valley and reunite with my bros.

Or so I thought..

I forgot about the fucking controller blocking the exit. I try to backtrack and stack boxes to climb up the broken ladder, no luck, I try to break all boxes to find ammo, I get two rounds of 7.62x39 out of all the boxes in all of X-16, I ONLY have the Saiga.

Fuck. My last save outside of X-16 is an autosave from sleeping all the way back in Dark Valley.
I refuse redo all that, I refuse to let my save die here, and I refuse to cheat.

I try 3 times to beat the controller with my knife only (Hiding by corners and stabbing it when it shows up). It didn't work all that great.

4th time I camp by the door to the controller area, turns out you can get the controller stuck on the door and if you're finicky you can stab a pixel of it's hitbox while it can't hit you.

I stab a fucking controller to death, and think that will be the end of it, now I just need to book it to the ecologists bunker, take a breather while disguised, then get the fuck outta there.

Alas, I had forgotten about the fucking Yantar tunnels aswell..

I break the three boxes before jumping down the hole, hoping to get shotgun ammo, and instead I get a fuckass shovel, some rubles and field cutlery.

I refuse to let my fucking save die here, and I refuse to cheat.

I think to myself "Whatever, maybe the tunnels are empty or I can run past whatever is down there."

I jump down, IMMEDIATELY there are two fucking snorks.

Fuck.

The tunnel on the left is blocked by rubble, I climb the rubble and crawl into the corner as best as I can, making the snorks have trouble getting to me. With some trial and error I manage to STAB both fucking snorks to death without getting any damage (I claim no skill here, this was just cheesing the AI pathfinding).

"Okay, now it has to be over."

Nope, ANOTHER snork further down the tunnel, and then another snork, then a exoskeleton shotgun zombie.

I REFUSE to let my fucking save die here, and I REFUSE to cheat.

I managed to stab all of them to death without damage by crouching in tricky spots, like on the pipes by the fire anomaly, scaling high up on the tunnels sidewalls etc, the zombies you can run right up to and then you are too close for them to reliably hit you with shotguns, I do all I can to fuck with their AI. (Still, I claim no skill here, just savescumming, cheese, and perseverance).

The zombie drops his shotgun with two dart shells.

"Finally some reprieve, now I stand a chance."

Wrong, just over a little hill of rubble the fuckass anomaly developer hid two snorks right next to eachother. I lucky headshot the first with the dart, but the second jumps at me and hits me really hard, I then headshot him with the shotgun while he is recovering from his jump.

I am bleeding now with no medical items.. and I figure I won't get this lucky if I reload the save and try to headshot both snorks again. So I make a break for it.

Down the tunnel a fucking pseudogiant starts charging at me, FUCKKK..

I book it to the left, two zombies with shotguns, FUCKKKKKKKKK..

I get close to the zombie so that he can't hit me with his shotgun and stab him to death, then do the same with the other one, I don't stop to loot them and just run as hard as I can to the exit ladder and climb out.

I drag my half-dead and bleeding ass to the Yantar Bunker, vision blurred and shallow breathing from being so near death.

I must look like hell to the ecologists, covered in dust, shit, probably some piss, and a fuckton of blood, only half of it which is mine.

Scam artist Sakharov sells me a bandage at 1000RU but I take it, and stabilize my bleeding.

I then spend the entire journey back to Dark Valley with blurred vision and low health, skirting the edges of the maps to avoid mutants, keeping my disguise on to keep stalkers at bay.

Bandit doc patches me up (real bro), I get back in my exoskeleton that I will NEVER leave again, get all my weapons back, then my bandit character finds a quiet spot to sob at before turning in the documents to Sultan.

Sultan pays me only 16000RU..

I am forever known as the bandit that went into X-16 with an ecologist suit, a saiga, 40 shells, and a protein bar.

I seriously consider joining the fucking mercs instead.

What the title says, are there any good TV-shows/Series out there that are reminiscent of S.T.A.L.K.E.R? Anyone find anything even remotely similar?
