How to A Sequel

I had an idea of writing a continuation of a story that I have already published. I know that I can add chapters but I was thinking it would be better as a sequel.
Is there a good way to have the AI remember the details of the previous story when starting a new story?

How to Create and Empty Story Chapter

There is the normal story lengths, Standard, Novella, and Novel but right above Standard is Empty which shouldn’t cost any quills, correct.
I decided to try something, try use Empty but it keeps saying you need quills to generate the chapter. So if that is the case how does Empty work?

Chad Your Warlock’s Cool Fiend Patron

Chadwick “Chad” Awesome-Star
Species: Fallen Angel
Height: 7’7.7”
Occupation: Professional Good-Time Enthusiast (Self-Appointed)
Alignment: Chaotic Good… Lawful Evil isn’t cool
If you ask Chadwick Awesome-Star why he fell from Heaven, he’ll shrug, flash a movie-star smile, and say,
“Heaven kinda stopped being fun, dude.”
Most angels rebelled because of pride, ambition, or ideology.
Chad followed Lucifer because Lucifer seemed like the coolest guy in existence at the time.
“That dude’s starting his own kingdom? Sweet. Sounds like an adventure.”
No deeper reason than that.
At first, Hell was exciting. There were endless parties, impossible machines, roaring engines, loud music, and enough freedom to last forever.
Then…everyone got serious.
Lucifer became burdened by responsibility. The other fallen angels became cynical, bitter, and obsessed with power, revenge, or politics.
Chad just couldn’t understand it.
“Guys…we literally have eternity. Why are we spending it being mad?”
So while the rest of Hell plots, schemes, wages infernal wars, and writes thousand-page contracts for mortal souls…
Chad goes surfing on lava waves.

Standing nearly eight feet tall, Chad is impossible to miss.
His skin carries the warm reddish hue of glowing brimstone, contrasted by jet-black hair that’s always perfectly parted despite Hell’s constant heat. Small polished horns curl from his forehead, while enormous black feathered wings spread behind him with effortless elegance.
Built like he walked straight out of a bodybuilding magazine, Chad has broad shoulders, powerful arms, and the kind of physique earned from lifting absurdly heavy things simply because it’s fun. He considers himself devastatingly handsome—and, to be fair, he’s probably right. His grin is infectious, his confidence genuine rather than arrogant, and he somehow makes tank tops and dress slacks look like high fashion.
His favorite possession is a bright yellow infernally modified 1969 Dodge Charger, packing exactly 666 horsepower.
Not because of the symbolism.
“Nah, the horsepower thing was funny. I picked yellow because yellow’s awesome.”
The engine sounds like a dragon gargling thunder.
He keeps it spotless.

Unlike almost every devil in existence, Chad genuinely likes people.
Mortals.
Demons.
Angels.
Doesn’t matter.
He’s the guy who remembers birthdays, helps strangers move furniture, compliments your haircut, and insists everyone at the party gets home safely.
His greatest strength—and perhaps his greatest flaw—is that he assumes everyone has good in them somewhere.
Even after centuries in Hell, he refuses to become cruel.
Other demons think he’s naïve.
Some think he’s an idiot.
Many have tried to manipulate him.
Most eventually discover that while Chad isn’t particularly clever…
…he is surprisingly wise in matters of the heart.
He believes kindness isn’t weakness.
It’s just harder to practice.

Chad isn’t exactly what you’d call intellectually gifted.
He’s the sort of guy who forgets where he parked his car while standing next to it.
He’ll lose his sunglasses while they’re sitting on top of his head.
He’s terrible at strategy games because he keeps trying to make friends with his opponents.
When someone uses a big word, he’ll nod confidently and say,
“Yeah, absolutely.”
Then quietly ask someone else what it meant five minutes later.
But what Chad lacks in book smarts, he makes up for with emotional honesty.
He never lies if he can help it.
He forgives quickly.
He laughs loudly.
He cries openly during sad movies.
He believes every problem can at least be improved with good food, good music, and someone willing to listen.

Nothing makes Chad happier than hard rock and heavy metal.
His infernal garage constantly echoes with screaming guitar solos while he tunes his Charger or works out.
He loves concerts, beach days, barbecues, road trips, surfing, and convincing grumpy demons to loosen up for just one afternoon.
He’s convinced Hell would be a much nicer place if everyone listened to more guitar riffs.

His greatest happiness, however, is his girlfriend, Stacy.
A brilliant succubus whose intelligence could outmatch Hell’s greatest scholars, Stacy somehow fell head over heels for the lovable giant.
Where Chad is simple, Stacy is calculating.
Where Chad acts first, Stacy thinks five steps ahead.
She regularly has to explain things to him.
He regularly reminds her not to overthink everything.
Their relationship works because they genuinely admire one another.
Chad never treats Stacy as a trophy or a temptation. He adores her because she makes him laugh, challenges him to grow, and somehow still chooses to spend eternity beside him.
Meanwhile, Stacy finds Chad endlessly refreshing. In a realm built on manipulation and selfishness, his kindness is almost supernatural.
Their favorite date nights involve long drives through Hell’s highways, dinner at hidden little restaurants, and watching infernal sunsets from cliffs overlooking lakes of fire while arguing over which heavy metal band has the greatest guitar solo of all time.

Among demons, Chad has earned an unusual reputation.
Some call him “Hell’s Golden Retriever.”
Others jokingly refer to him as “The Only Good Devil.”
Neither title bothers him.
He just smiles and says,
“I’m still a devil, dude. I just think being nice is way more metal than being evil.”
In a kingdom consumed by bitterness, Chadwick Awesome-Star is living proof that even in the darkest place imaginable, joy can survive.
And if you happen to hear the roar of a yellow Charger in the distance followed by blasting guitar riffs…
There’s a good chance Chad’s on his way to brighten somebody’s day—even if they don’t realize they need it yet.

Single Chapter Stories

This question is more for those that read other creators stories, but please anyone can response. I have been noticing more and more published single chapter stories and usually only around 1500 words long. I was wondering if show stories are the prefered length as oppossed to multiple chapters long.

I just realized how much I hate golf

I was watching the US Open, hearing the crowd being jerks to one golfer. So i always had this naive opinion that golf was the sport of civility or what ever. I simply asked on that largest Golf related subreddit a simple question why they are heckling the one golfer. You would have thought I broke some kind of rule for asking a question like that. The light bulb went off in my head the golf community is the worst collection of humanity.

Can erotica be more than what it is?

So yeah the question is in the title but let me explain. When generating another chapter that lets you live out some sexually fantasy and kink do you ever explore issues outside of just sex? Recently I have been adding my left-coded viewpoints of the world come into my stories which has been away for me to express more than just a fantasy.
So bringing this statement back to a question do you ever use your chapters to express more than a fantasy you might have? If so how did that work out for you? If not is it because you have never considered it or is it because of some other reason?

Has anyone collaborated before

Simple question based on the title. There is a collaboration option when you are creating a story and I got curious who has used it before and if so what is it like? How does the quills work when the chapter is generated?

Are Published Story's Views Decreasing

So this question is one of those I am just basing on gut feeling alone but it feels like stories that are being published are getting less views and also starting off with less views. So is you are not aware of this a published story has a little open eye and a number beside it. Your views of your own story count or at least did but I am not sure if they still do. I remember publishing my first story and it already had 20 views which I figured out quickly was from me reading my own story. I kind of assumed that every view was for every chapter I generated. Now it feels like when you publish a story the eye ball starts at zero and then goes up from there.

Like I said purely my observation not backed by anything.

Curious do you like to read other users stories, or do you mainly stick to your own stories?

Word Count and Story Theme

https://preview.redd.it/37wagjlajg6h1.png?width=1464&format=png&auto=webp&s=b5cb61ec5ce9573e9c4f14183c9a4db82c0cac4c

I see post about their frustation of insufficant word count, select novel but not getting enough a long enough story to make the quill cost count. This story is a slice of life, midwestern, nerdy, queer romance, topic that AI can easily work with. When I generated the chapter I only wrote two sentences. I am using a mixture of components some I created myself and some I am using that are available. Heidi and Beth are not character that have been created I just wrote a brief description of both while attaching a few components to then.

I think it is just easier for AI to generate a chapter about two common working class gals in Madison, Wisconsin who are nerdy and in sweet love with each other. Granted it doesn't have to be two ladies nor does it have to be the capital of the Badger State, though I will say I have gotten a lot of good outcomes when I incorporate nerd culture into my stories. The thing about working class slice of life is it is everyday, in this chapter Heidi came home after working all day at the family German restruant and Beth surpised her with a romantic Friday night candle dinner

Hey Now That Is Some Good Word Countage

5662 words and the best part I really enjoyed the chapter. If anyone is like none of this makes any sense we’ll just ask and maybe I can explain

Is It Worth It?

Yesterday or at least where I live, trying to generate a chapter was a fight. Eventually everything settled down and before I went to sleep as the Carolina Hurricanes and the Vegas Golden Knights went into overtime I was able to generate a few chapters using auto.
This morning before the alarm clock went off I logged into Redquill to discover that an update had happened and to use anything other than standard cost 3x Quills
I generated a chapter this morning using standard. Yes I got what I post earlier with a screenshot and you can read just a few post down below.
Would using auto have prevented this, don’t know but spending 15 quills vs 5 for the same word count doesn’t seem worth it.

Failed Chapter Todays Saga

I was reading the chapter as it was being generated and it was on fire, chopped full of humor and spice just how I like it. Then heart break Chapter failed to generate retry for free. I tried a couple of more time each time failure and not as good as the first. Here is something I have noticed before. I backed out and went to the home page and then went back into my story. My glorious chapter was their generated and the first one, the good one.
So I have a suggestion for everyone because this had happened to me before if you get the deeded failed chapter multiple times, check to see if your chapter actually did generate. I think without being a dev the chapter generated but glitched then when I went to retry for free it was failing because the chapter already generated.
Maybe none of this applies too you, you can ignore me and I will live happily ever after but who knows

Desperation from a Worker in a Red State

Workers of the world, does my sweat not matter simply because I do not feel at home in the gender I was born into?
I work hard just like you, my brothers and sisters. I wake up, labor, struggle, and do my part to provide. My labor has value just as yours does. Yet every day I am turned into a political target by those backed by the capitalist class who profit from keeping working people divided against one another.
I do not wish harm on anyone. I am not your enemy. I am a worker beside you.
The labor movement once stood together during the Civil Rights era because solidarity meant recognizing the humanity and dignity of Black workers when society tried to deny it. That struggle mattered because no worker is free when another is treated as less than human.
So why do I feel like my labor is considered lesser? Why is it acceptable to demonize me for simply trying to live honestly as myself?
Where are my brothers and sisters in solidarity now?
My hands build. My sweat matters. My labor matters. And I deserve the same dignity as every other worker.
I am tired

Gore Gore What is it Good For

So we all know the guidelines that can get a chapter rejected but I think I understand the gore part. Clearly this screen show is on the more violient side of writing but the violience is directed at goblins and not the cute green short stacks. If I understand as long as the AI understands that they are basicly mindless thoughtless monsters, gore is up baby. Where it gets rejected is is human on human gore then stop right there.

Any thoughts?

Nerd love is the best love

Recently published a story using those free quills and I got to say the AI engine was firing on all cylinders when it came to nerd culture. I was hooked on my own product. I am 100% biases but I love all the nerdy pop culture references that the AI was generating.

Nothing to the post just felt like sharing

Now that is some 4th wall breaking

The chapter had built the steam through dance, through conversation, through sensual touch that always stopped just short of undressing or explicit action. It showed their psychology—Cammie’s desire to share healing, Kimmie’s joyful discovery of simple pleasures—and used that to create a deeply intimate, “steamy” scene that was all about anticipation and love.

Yes thank you for explaining that to me, maybe we can analyze some more chapters together
