Hello there, long term user here!
Iâve recently worked on a story. The first few chapters were beautiful. Ever since yesterday, the AI constantly uses very long sentences, all connected by at least 3-5 âandâ. Also a lot of âHe said,â âShe said,â etc.
How can I fix this?

The Monthly Muse | October: Monsters Are People Too!
It's October, and the monsters are out. Unfortunately, they've still got bills to pay, relationships to maintain, and romantic entanglements to navigate.
This month's Muse is all about the mundane lives of extraordinary beings.
The Challenge:
Write a story featuring a traditionally monstrous, mythical, or supernatural character dealing with an ordinary, everyday situation or relationship. Alternatively, create an RQ character component built around the same premise and share it with the community!
Need a little inspiration?
- A fairy barista struggling to pay off her student loans offers special service to the regulars.
- Cthulhu desperately trying to get eight uninterrupted hours of sleep while his cultists continuously hold orgies to wake him up.
- A werewolf hopelessly in love with a princess, but too shy to tell her.
- A lich navigating the unfortunate consequence of ED brought on by his condition.
- A vampire discovers his favorite thrall has been cheating on him with a leech monster. He is angered at first, but realizes he has been ignoring her.
- A demon whose greatest ambition is to win the neighborhood gardening competition, but his he'll spawned plants terrify his neighbors.
- A wizard cuckhold scries on his wife as she goes to a sex club for the first time.
The only rule: Your monster must have an ordinary, relatable desire or problem. How extraordinary the consequences become is entirely up to you.
Comedy, romance, erotica, horror, tragedy, or something in betweenâwe want to see what happens when the supernatural meets the painfully normal.

Hereâs a roundup of what weâve shipped, what we fixed, and what weâre looking at next.
This week includes big upcoming feature launches next Wednesday that Premium RQ subscribers can preview, as well as fixes for several visible frustrations youâve reported, including streaks resetting, paragraph tools corrupting text, and the header disappearing after writing.
Just to let you know: writing reliability work is still ongoing ambiently. More chapters are now being handled through faster routes that have been failing less often, and some writes now try an additional service first when the usual path is slow. Weâre continuing to monitor both reliability and writing quality, but the major prose issues should have been fixed (some recent problems with prose didn't seem to be prose per se, so we appreciate any really specific examples you can find if you do- and to share them here since we're actively looking at all the examples).

Idk if this is just me or not, maybe this issue has already been raised and I just didn't see it, but ever since the new update my three chili chapters turn out a good 1k words shorter than green pepper ones, no matter how long the prompt is or how much is supposed to happen in the chapter.
I'm currently trying to generate a chapter with one singular sex scene (out of like four scenes in total), and I'm getting 3.5k at most. All three other scenes are quite lengthy, but the AI seems to be cutting them all down just to keep the word count lower, and the prose sucks because it rushes through whatever parts of the prompt it didn't decide to cut off. Green pepper chapters however easily give me 4.2k or more even without a long prompt and the writing style is much much better.
This difference in word count dependent on spice level is present with Ember and Spark for sure, I haven't tried Ink yet but I don't have high hopes to be honest. Shouldn't chapters containing explicit content have the best quality on an erotica site??
I've done a few short stories now. Maybe a compilation is in order.
