I saw a post about Blue Magic

I saw a post about solely using Blue Magic (and water) for their locs. I am wondering if anyone else does this? I came here to get information or thoughts on using this oil on the end of locs, but now im curious about using it as a "holding" solution in lieu of locking gels. Has anyone used Blue Magic or some other oil exclusively instead of holding gel for loc maintenance?

I would like to get other opinions on the Girl in the Garage, if it's okay with you all

I was having a text conversation the other day about this movie in which the person I was texting was very upset about this movie. Their thought was that the main protagonist Cowan, was essentially stupid, careless, and lacked any discernment regarding her situation. The way they laid it out made it seem like the girl was responsible for her situation and could have easily gotten out of it at anytime- leaving her kidnapper with no responsibility in the situation at all. She ignored all red flags that showed this person was not a good person and did not have her best interest in mind so she deserved what she got. I personally feel this is victim blaming and that, while she was careless at times and wasn't as aware of the type of situation she was getting herself in to as she should have been, this was not her fault. She has no control over the actions of others and should not be blamed for their nefarious intentions. Has anyone else seent he movie? What were your thoughts?

Propagation question

For those of you who have successfully propagated a PPP before, how long does it normally take for roots to grow? Are the little nodes on the stem roots trying to grow or could they be new leaves coming in? Or a sign of something completely different?

Infestations

So I see a lot of talk about thrips and spider mites on many of the threads. I am wondering just how bad spider mites in particular are. I have a fiddle leaf fig that I believe has spider mites (I'm pretty sure she came with them based on all of the brown spots, but I didnt know about them at the time), but she is still growing large and pretty quickly. Is it really something to be concerned about or is it just annoying to have them?
