How’s my Blackstone? I’m kidding

This is for all the new blackstone owners. I’ve been using my flattop for two years now and I’m enjoying it. The season of the flattop comes with use. My first season didn’t turn out great. But the more I used it the better it got and will keep getting better. I clean my with just hot water, let that water cook of the burnt stuff, use the scraper to push all the water into the grease trap, hit with some more water, push the water to the trap and wipe down with a damp cloth once you’ve turned the grill off. Then I use Simple Green to wipe down the inside and outside of the cover(if you have one) and then the rest of the exterior. Some times I will put some Avocado oil on the flatttop when I’m all done. Not so much in the summertime because the grill gets used almost daily.
Just remember to have fun and enjoy your cooking experience. And don’t sweat it. You’ve got this.
