Is there an NGC equivalent for known celestial objects?

I'm looking for a catalogue that would allow my project to refer to a known planet, moon, comet, optionaly star (but not galaxy) with a 32-bit (or less) integer (so 0 to 4 billion positions) in both solar system and beyond. So, like NGC does for galaxies, it should utilise sequential numeration as objects are discovered like 1, 2, 3… over long alphanumeric combinatinons like D/1977 C1. Is there such a catalogue?

Is the recommended 360° camera for contributing to Panoramax still GoPro MAX?

I've seen this model being recommended as the best choice as recent as a year ago. However, when I went to compare cameras online it seemed to me that similarly priced competitors from Insta360 and DJI vastly outperform GoPro in terms of megapixels (72/120 vs. 29) and image resolution when taking still photos (5952/7760 rows vs. 2752v1/3840v2). GoPro seems to have an advantage when it comes to high-FPS action video, but that's not what is valueable for this project.

I know GoPro (at least the first model) has a GPS module, but is it really better in resolution than whatever data comes from the smartphone?

Are there other reasons to prefer GoPro? Maybe better anti-distortion measures?

What is the public opinion on Stop Killing Games initiative in Japan?

Recently I've seen some debates on Twitter (X) about community-made patches and community-hosted servers made to keep a shut down multiplayer game alive. While western gamers were largely suppotive, many people from Japan equated that to piracy, saying that if a game publisher wants to kill a game nobody is allowed to touch it. Even if said publisher will not be harmed by people tinkering with the code of a game it officially abandoned, it's their IP by law and it should be respected.

There is an initiative called Stop Killing Games. Basically, it advocates for laws that would oblige game publishers, if they want to shut down a game, to release a way for the community to host their own servers and keep the game alive as long as there are volunteers to do so. It already had moderate success in lobbying for such laws in EU and California, US.

In the west, the public is very supportive of it. A triple A game is a result of labour of countless artists, and although they signed off their intellectual rights to the studio, financial executives who had nothing to do with creative process having a right to burn their work to never be seen again feels unethical. Imagine if RKO or Paramount decided to melt all tapes with Citizen Kein or Interstellar after screenings stopped being financially adequate, with their legacy being “not our problem”. That would be a tragedy.

Given how popular pro-corpo views on IP and “artist before art” philosophy are in Japan and Asia overall, is the public opinion on SKG’s legal projects different? Or if it would be a law, it's fine to limit corporations a bit?

Looking for more games similar to Metel and Schoolboy Runaway CaseOh played

I really enjoyed watching him play these games and others from Linked Squad, including Joker. Looking for similar games to watch. Now watching Granny, but that's not quite it by vibe.

As far as I remember, there's no way to tell these two apart aside for the creator, but I may be mistaken. The later would mean they can potentially be restored, the other would mean they are gone forever along with all commutity contribution (comments).

BTW, does anyone have stats on amount of videos and most popular video / channel views right before wipe?
