Class of 2030 chud trying to transfer next year

Hiya. I'm international (Asian, Male), and I applied to 13 schools in the USA:
- Harvard

- Stanford

- MIT

- UC Berkeley

- UC Davis

- UC San Diego

- UIUC

- Purdue

- Cornell

- Georgia Tech

- NYU

- Duke

I got rejected from all of them except UC San Diego to study Artificial Intelligence (thank you UCSD for seeing something in me that others didn't, ig). FYI, I applied to all unis for MechE (including UCSD) and set my alternate major as CS/AI.

But I'll be honest, while my family can thankfully afford the international student tuition and housing for UCSD, It's been uncomfortable knowing that we'd be paying a lot for something that isn't rlly a t10 or t20 (doesn't feel worth paying a lot for this institution). My goal is to attend for a year and then try transferring next year.

FYI my stats:

- 1490 SAT (710E 780M)

- Strong ECs T1 and T2 ECs with international awards in debating, chess, and top ranks in some national awards and great internships

- Strong rec letters

- 40/45 IB (high rigor by taking AA HL Math (predicted 6), HL Physics (also 6), and HL CS (predicted 7)

I guess my SAT let me down a bit and maybe my essays (tho I thought my essays were strong and some of my peers and teachers thought so too)

I want to try and transfer to one of the following:

- Stanford

- Harvard

- MIT

- Columbia

- UC Berkeley

Now, how much of my high school stuff will universities consider?

Do I need to retake the SAT?

What do I need to do in uni to max out chances of successful transfer?

Thanks.
