I'm trying to replace a Corotron tube on a CDV-700 6B Geiger counter.
The replacement should look like the photo, I just don't want to spend 40 bucks on one.
I believe I need 3x "2W 2EZ300D5 300V silicon zener diode" (for 900 volts) and a prototype board, I've never done anything like this but I believe it should be simple enough, does that sound about right? Do I need anything else or should know?
