1- Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil / Matt Murdock
2- Iman Vellani, who plays Ms. Marvel and has written multiple comics with the character since
3- Paul Dano has written for and acted as The Riddler
4 and 7- Henry Cavill, who's working on a W40K movie and played Geralt of Rivia
5- Samara Weaving, who recently got cast as Emma Frost, reading her comics
6- Nicole Maines, who played Dreamer on Supergirl, and wrote a few comics too
8- Tom Holland, who has publicly been a huge Spider-Fan since well before he got cast as Spidey
Please give me more examples of this! It gives me much joy to see people genuinely be passionate about their work and be rewarded for it
this is top 3 most evil things I've ever done. this may make some of you suck to your stomachs... I for one, am filled with devious glee >!to such an extent that I would make a good Vessel for Odium.!<
[Rhythm of War spoilers]
I'm not gonna lie and say it's a perfect book by any means (it's not), and I do have my issues with it, but that does not at all take away from how hard it hit emotionally, especially the end. Sanderson has this magical ability to pick a side character and just decide that that's going to be someone you get deeply attached to (Sigzil, Gav).
All of the twists and turns (like Travandium not being able to bring himself to truly destroy Kharbranth), literally everything to do with Renarin and Adolin, the Tanavast chapters, Jasnah's Debate Off, Kaladin & Szeth & Nightblood camarederie, the flashbacks, ugh, so many pieces of this book are so beautiful. I realise I am late to the part, and that this is not really a unique or revolutionary post, just needed to get all the goddamn emotion this book caused out somewhere.
RIP Dalinar Kholin, you beautiful bastard
She loves Denth and Tonk Fah... sweet summer's child has no idea what's coming 🥲
As the title says, I have returned to this app after around 8 years of not having used it whatsoever. My old account is so decrepit I don't even want to use it anymore, but I have no idea where to begin? I tried out some of the official stories, but they are (mostly) a lot worse than I remember the official stories being? (or maybe I was just 13 and didn't think about it, lmk)
Basically, I want to know how to actually get started, and, if I should get into this app again at all. I've noticed a distressing amount of generative AI in multiple of the official stories, and at least in the episode official stories, gem-choices are insanely expensive for how little the number of gems we get is.
So kind people of this subreddit, please let me know if this app is still worth getting into / where do I even start??? Much love in advance :)
