Thermaltake 600 RAM cooling abilities.

After questioning the RAM cooling from the side fan near the RAM on the Tower 600 case, I decided to test out an actual RAM cooler, this one is from Thermalright, the MC-2. It does look great. RAM is at 1.45v, CL28 6000hz.

Without the RAM cooler, I was at 35c temps while gaming.

With the cooler, I am still at 35c temps. Edit: The fan speed is on the same hub/profile as the GPU fans, about 75% fan speed when gaming, GPU is 45c.

Just sharing the phenomenal talent that went into the Thermaltake Tower 600 design. That fan near the RAM actively cools the RAM enough. Thanks Thermaltake!

Edit; further review on measurements with this case:

The Thermalright MC-2 fits almost perfectly between the Arctic Freezer III VRM fan, and the 27mm Arctic P14 Pro fan. There is only a couple millimeters of space on both sides, barely. I used the clamps that came with it, the riser hardware lifts the cooler up higher, which will work with taller RAM sticks. I did not expect it to fit so perfectly.

Recognition for Tekkusai. A positive light.

After having the original Tekkusai "The Beast" mousepad (V1) months since it's release, I started to feel dissatisfied with the coating. At the time it was the fastest mousepad, and I would argue that it still is up there in new condition. I spend a lot of time on the pad, and I keep it clean with a wet cloth each day. No scratching or wear in areas where I use the mouse the most; I can put the mouse anywhere on the pad and it feels the same.

As time went on, the pad just felt slower. It felt like it started to drag on the mouse more and more. My only solution was to apply a coat of MCT oil on the pad, and that restored it to the brilliance of the pad when it was new. That lasts about week or so.

Finally, I reached out to let Tekkusai know about my mouse pad situation with being inconsistent after months passed by. It is not frustration or negative, because the pad performs brilliantly for what I need it to do and is amazing, once I restore it every now and then.

Tekkusai stands by his products. He volunteered a 2nd generation pad, and while this one out of the box is not as fast as the original, it has been consistent for several months.

Some of you may have opposite feelings about him, as I have gleaned from several Reddit threads accusing him of not providing full disclosure on certain aspects of the final product sold to us. It happens in a lot of companies including this one, where the owner may not actually travel to the factory and watch the entire manufacturing process, leaving gaps of information which is never known until later; such as, any coatings applied to the pad that could potentially wear off. I'll stick up for him and his reputation on this one. Based on the replies to the marketing in the Reddit threads, I have a feeling this is what happened.

This issue has seemed to have been rectified and resolved, and Tekkusai has moved forward with a better understanding of the process. This new version (V2), while not quite as fast as the original, is consistent and feels the same after these months, even after deeper cleaning with a damp microfiber towel. Apparently, the finishing on this V2 is more durable, and I think that is correct. This was a very satisfying experience, and my positive review of "The Beast" mousepad (V1 and V2) and Tekkusai himself, respectfully.

4090 Surpim Liquid, VRM fan options?

I'm looking to swap the Torx 5.0 fan on the card. I need to reverse the flow to compliment the card's placement above the Arctic P12 Pro fans directly underneath it, feeding an upgraded Byksky 360mm x 40mm radiator in push-pull exiting the case. I feel like the fan is fighting to pull air into the card, and the card exit on the PCIE side there is another Arctic P14 Pro pushing air against it, both effectively fighting against the flow going into the card.

Are there any drop in reverse fan blades I can swap out to?

Can the fan be detached from the bushing and a 3D printed replacement put in place?

I would like to keep the card looking factory.

Realizing this is a long shot, I do appreciate the help. Thank you.

Thermaltake Tower 600 Build.

What a great experience building this. 420mm on top, 360mm on the bottom.

9800X3D / MSI 4090 Suprim Liquid with upgraded 360mm radiator.

Never have to worry about the GPU AIO pump placement, either; intake is from the low port and the radiator is completely full. Overall, I'm really happy with this case.

Thanks to the team at Thermaltake for making it.

Edit: Two Left side fans, two right side fans, two rear panel fans, all have Arctic P14 Pros as intake fans. Top Arctic P14 Pros vent outside through a radiator from the top, bottom Arctic P12 Pros vent outside through a radiator from the bottom.
