Just wondering

I dyed my hair brown in March this year so I can see at which rate it grows and it’s been 4 months of hair growth.
I can clearly see my hair growing from the roots as seen in the pic, but my hair is still the same length?
How do I fix this I’ve tried everything, I can see my hair growing from the scalp but I see no difference
