Finished Liu Bei's 194 Campaign (Wu Kingdaissance Mod).

This Liu Bei start is really one of the easiest campaigns in the game. You have access to Zhao Yun and Lu Bu to kick ass early on. The Emperor is easy to capture and you have the powerful combo of Imperial Decree and Unify to grab a lot of land. Liu Bei's only weakness is his lack of elite cavalry (which can be somewhat mitigated by recruiting generals who do have them) and the fact that there isn't a lot of free Han land to absorb in 194.

Finished Dong Zhuo's 190 Campaign in 79 Turns (Wu Kingdaissance Mod)

Dong Zhuo is a very strong faction, with a large roster (plenty of whom are Koihime characters), a strong faction mechanic, and elite unique cavalry which is very important in Total War: Three Kingdoms. I find the early game and late game to be quite easy, with the hardest part being the midgame. In the early game your opponents are dealing with a weak start. In the midgame you’re at risk of overextending and having to defend multiple points as the warlords keep declaring war on you. In the late game if you restore the Han all of the diplomatic cons of Dong Zhuo went away and you still reap the rewards from Intimidation.

The aggro formula needs an overhaul

For the last couple entries, Monolith has shown that they have severely underestimated how much damage the attacker classes can dish out, and consequently, how much aggro they accrue.

Because of this, defender classes have been struggling to draw aggro from the attackers (especially the low-DPS, high HP defenders like the Shield Hammer class). This problem exaggerbates Xenoblade 3, where the best "tanks" turn out to be Attackers that just spam their evasion arts over and over. Future Redeemed robbed us even that, leaving us with a terrible double defender scenario that leaves Rex taking all the aggro.

As such, if Monolith wants to continue with the Attacker/Defender/Healer trio, they need to heabily rebalance how aggro works if they don't want attacker and defender having similar DPS. Attackers will always be useful because that's how you kill enemies. Healers have been successfully overhauled in 3 to be potent buffers (we... don't talk about most of the Agnian Healers). Now it's time for Defenders to have something that sets them apart.
