I pulled Shell and Pineapple and just had to see what Pineapple’s head would look like with the coconut drink. I’m in love.

Has anyone else played around with switching their heads and bodies for cute combos?

Lastly- any tips for taming two birds so we can spend lots of time outside the cage? (My last bird was a rescue that I found on a university campus after the students moved out and he was already used to being handled.) I work from home 3 days a week and would love to give these two some time to spread their wings.

Last month I asked my dad to go shake some boxes to find Rabbit at a store in my hometown since they don’t sell them where I live now. I pulled Owl and my dad was so determined to get me Rabbit that he went online and mailed it to me! I’m crying. I hope he likes the Japanese tea cup I got him for Father’s Day! He deserves a medal!

I made rainbow cinnamon rolls for Pride! I used the “Easy No-Yeast Cinnamon Rolls” recipe from NYT and then divided the dough, mixed in gel food coloring as I kneaded the dough, and then made a patchwork of dough balls that I rolled out into a single sheet. I also added sprinkles to the filling for extra pops of color. I thought about marbling the frosting and regret not trying it.

My husband said they were too sweet but the tin foil was haphazardly replaced after lunch so I know he went back for more! Don’t ask me about my opinion because I lost my sense of sweet taste due to Covid back in February and it’s still not completely back :(

Drove 2 hours to our nearest big city for an important errand and got to pick out blind boxes irl for the first time! Super excited about Cactus, Eggplant and Fried Chicken. (He’s so weird-I love the bone.) I really want to try for Rabbit but the store I went to only had Flower, Snack and Veg for standing babies.

Today I am sick (again) and I have them tucked into the pockets of my yoga pants for emotional support.
