Do I need a dehumidifier for my bedroom if my AC has the same function?

The title. I live in NYC, and it tends to get humid during the summer. My AC has a dry mode, but it also makes my room cold. I've done a little bit of research, and it seems that a lot of dehumidifiers function in a similar way as AC, but just release all the heat in the room, rather than outside. Based on that, does it make sense for me to buy a separate humidifier? It mostly gets humid when it's hot outside, so I could just run the AC in dry mode and maybe use a separate heater for a little bit if it gets too cold, vs having a separate humidifier. Let me know your thoughts.

How changes to D/S would affect mastering out from a PhD program?

So I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I'm doing my PhD, but I'm not the biggest fan, and I was thinking about leaving with a master's next year. However, from my understanding, it wouldn't be allowed under the new changes to F1 D/S. From what we know, can anyone confirm this? That seems to really screw up my life in a major way.

Anyone purchased Quiet Curtains before?

They seem to be lab-tested and claim 17 STC reduction. However, they are around 400 bucks per curtain, which makes me a bit hesitant to buy them. Does anyone have any experience with them? I'm mostly looking to clock out occasional music coming from the outside.

I've been rocking a stubble/short beard for the last 6 months, but always been struggling with how a neckline should look like. I'd normally settle for the line on pics 1,2,3, but I recently bought a neckline shaper and got the shape on pics 4,5,6. I'm still somewhat confused about which one looks right and/or better. Based on the pics, could you tell me which one (if any) I should stick with?
