Holy larp incoming
I know he's actually read the series but I am expecting this video to somehow only be 80% accurate at most.
The second Alaraph is defended we need to immediately hightail it to Matar Bay to defend Meissa and cut off the Automatons
Anyone who's taken one of Logan Masilamani's classes, is he any good?
Asking because I want to take POL 339 in the fall* but his ratemyprof page is so bizarre, literally just either 5 star reviews or 1 star reviews, all the 5 stars feel like bot reviews and half of the 1 star reviews do, and they're all just for either "100" or "101", like there's no designation at all. Looking for a second opinion since idk what to take away from that page. Also literally all the reviews were posted from January 1st to the 23rd of this year.
If you could make one minor change to either/both seasons 7 or 8 of VLD that wouldn't affect the main plot to slightly improve the overall experience, what would it be?
Me personally, I would have Acxa join team Voltron after episode 3 of season 7 instead of just being left on whatever planet that was.
Depending on how far you can stretch the term minor change she could be with the paladins for the rest of the season so long as the key parts of season 7 are unaffected, ie she's just kinda there, but nothing really changes even if she gets to play a role in some events which would be more than enough IMO.
But if we're stressing the minor part of minor change she could exit the stage in episode 5 when Krolia and Kolivan leave to rebuild the blades and she could go with them, so the only real changes would be she might appear in the background at the end of The Fued, and she'd make an appearance in episode 5 and potentially help fight the ex-druid that same episode.
If in the first scenario she's literally just there in the background doing absolutely nothing of value after they get to earth I'd prefer the latter because every time she just showed up in the background of season 8 and didn't do anything it lowkey pissed me off because they could have been doing something with her and it felt like wasted potential.
Either way, she's one of my favourite characters, so for me even this minor change would make a big difference IMO. What would you change?
Would you rather date someone whose skin is permanently light blue, or someone with horns?

The Viltrumite Panel Voltron Edition
I've been seeing a ton of fandoms recreate this image and I unfortunately can't draw and I'd rather die before creating one with AI, but this is my interpretation of how it would look if someone else would like to recreate it.
Galra Version:
- Thragg: Zarkon
- Argall's Skull: The Black Bayard
- Anissa: Haggar
- Kregg: Sendak
- Conquest: Zethrid
- Lucan: Lotor
- Blondie: Ezor
- Lady in the back: Acxa
- Discount Kregg: Narti I guess
You could arguably swap Ezor and Acxa's positions but I mainly put them where they are so A. Ezor and Zethrid are together, B. I think they fit the reference better, and C. Acxa being the farthest from Zarkon could be some symbolism as she's the only one of the group to (permanently) join team Voltron, i.e. she's the farthest from the Galra empire.
Team Voltron Version:
- Thragg: Shiro
- Argall's Skull: the Castle of Lions Crystal
- Anissa: Allura
- Conquest: Coran
- Blondie: Pidge
- Kregg: Keith
- Lucan: Hunk
- Discount Kregg: Lance
- Lady in the back: Romelle
The other day I was rewatching The Way Forward and I noticed something when watching the final scene of them around the campfire which I only saw because I paused on the final shot, the place they were staying at had a bed. It's a rather crude and makeshift one, just some basic bedding on the floor, a pillow, and a rolled up blanket. But it's still a bed. And that got me thinking, could this place be more than just a spot they decided to stop at to rest and reconvene?
What's more is when we first see them there it seems like they only just got out of the lions and just started talking about what happened. It's not like they stopped on the planet, found a suitable cave, carried out some boxes to sit down on along side some light poles and set up a camp fire. Pretty much everything we see would take some time to set up, time that wasn't established to have passed. From my point of view it seemed like they had literally just shown up, with the only events we didn't see being Acxa leading them to the cave and Hunk gathering firewood.
The more you look around the more it looks like it's a makeshift home, there's the lightpoles with one broken, the fire place for cooking, a curtain to keep out dust, what even looks like a makeshift shelf in the top left, plus the seats around the fire.
Obviously I'm not saying this is literally where she grew up, just where she happened to be/end up during the timeskip. It'd also make more sense when Acxa said "I'll do everything I can out here to help the voltron coalition" if this was her actual base of operations with say some actual ships, and it would mean that the paladins didn't just leave her abandoned on this random planet after this episode.
Alternatively this could have just been a place she knew about for whatever reason that happened to be nearby but not actually be where she was living. Ie this was someone else's makeshift home and she just recommended they stop by to rest instead of landing somewhere with no settlement. Which would make sense considering the bed doesn't exactly look slept in and this place doesn't exactly look particularly lived in, even for a hardened galra soldier.
Honestly, this just makes me feel even more bad for Acxa if it's true, like imagine not only living there full time, but being left there if the paladins didn't give her a ride to a nearby planet/resistance base offscreen.
