Shoutout to Hex for being one of the greatest characters in television history

My dad's 1998 Mazda B2500 just surpassed 600,000 miles!! Unfortunately the green machine is on its last leg with frame and undercarriage rust. But the fact that it has lasted this long while being used as a landscaping work truck for its entire life is amazing

An EF-0 tornado was observed just to the southwest of Black River Falls, WI on July 20th 2026.  It did loft enough debris to be visible on radar, but did not impact any structures and no tree damage was found in the survey.

Interestingly the storms of this outbreak were rare low-topped supercells.  They did not look impressive on radar, and did not have traditional anvils.  They lacked precipitation and lightning.  They were still able to produce tornadoes and numerous funnels despite the capped environment thanks to extreme low level wind shear providing vorticity and very humid, warm air near the surface providing enough storm fuel.

I know this isn't an exciting tornado but I love chronicling these local small town events that get overlooked. Any feedback is appreciated

Two miles from my bestie's apartment. Her sister sent me a picture of the storm.

I'm a weather geek. Obviously. But I'm also a history nerd. A movie about the most important forecast in history that happens to take place during WWII??
