Fallout 4 Companions. Who is the Best one?

As the title stated, who is the best companion in Fallout 4. I am doing a "good guy" play through and have been using nick since the start. I just had to switch to Piper to complete a quest, and not sure if I like her as a companion. This had me thinking about who is the best companion, if there is one? Of course, I am going to try the other ones, but right now, especially after Nick's quest, to me he is my favorite so far.

Most previous play throughs, I usually go lone wonderer, for the perk and, to me, it is easier to not have to deal with someone else while I am traveling and fighting.

Admission to enjoying Fallout 4

I believe that Fallout 3 is one of the best games in the series. It is definitely my favorite game. (I think because it was my first game I played in the series, and the first game I found myself just dumping hours and hours in) I even was on the side that the Power Armor in FO3/NV and how it is worn was superior to FO4. I recently completed FO3 and started FO4. I can admit it...... I am enjoying the power armor in that game. I really enjoy piecing it together, upgrading it, and how it looks on the player.

The biggest hang up to me was that I needed to constantly change out the Fusion Core. I thought it made it harder having to worry about this. I WAS WRONG. I am finding myself taking the power armor off when I am in Sanctuary to do my "chores". I like that I can't sleep in the armor, or do task that would be impossible (cooking) if I was wearing it. I only put it on when I know I am going to have to deal with enemies. And I seem to come across enough fusion cores to do this.

I did like just wearing it and forgetting it in FO3/NV, but the added thought process in how it is used in FO4 is enjoyable. (I also really like how I can upgrade it...) I guess I never gave it a chance in previous play throughs.

I also am enjoying the story more, and the side quest. I am really taking my time to understand what the mission is about, and how I can best solve it.

While FO3 will always be my favorite, and I really enjoying my time in FO4, and giving it a better score.

My ratings:

FO3 - 90%

FONV: 95%

FO4: 90%

(I don't really play FO1 or 2 or the spin offs.)

What's the game you go back to time and time again?

I was playing a lot of GTA V, Euro Truck Simulator, Farming Simulator, and Vintage Story. After a couple of hours in those games, I just get bored. So I start looking at Steam games, searching genres like RPG or Open World and can never find any new games that appeal to me. So, I go back to my favorite games: Pretty much most of the Bethesda titles (as broken as the may be). Usually start with Oblivion, then move to Fallout 3. Once complete with Fallout 3, move to New Vegas then FO4, with a final stop in Skyrim. I have done this several times, and think I will do this several more times.

What is the game(s) that you always go back to when the current games you are playing just don't scratch that itch?

Looking for Advice for a Fallout Inspired Tattoo

I have seen a lot of post showing off their awesome Fallout tattoos. This had me thinking about my next tattoo, and looking to get something Fallout related.

I want to get something from the Fallout universe, preferably from Fallout 3 and later. but the one ask that i have is that it must be of Sailor Jerry style.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated. If I ever get it done, (once money becomes available) i will make sure to post it here.

Feral Ghoul Reavers Gang

Just a vent post, but during the Broken Steel quest line in the presidential metro I ran into 5 feral ghoul reavers, 4-5 glowing ones, and a couple roamed in one location. Right after speaking with the computer M.A.R.Go.T. I had 3 robots on in the tunnels on my side as well, and just got destroyed. They even killed Dogmeat, which is very hard.
Not only that, it felt like they were dodging bullets like Neo in the Matrix when I was shooting at them. Definitely a glitch, but their bottom half was walking normal, but their top half were all over the place. Like I said, looked like that scene in the matrix, where they could dodge bullets.
Took me a couple times to pass that area, and I’m level 27, using everything I could on them. Felt like a really unfair fight.
Glad that’s over!!!

Finding the Little Lamplight Quest in FO3 GOTY

Good Morning all wastelanders! I am starting a new playthrough and haven't touched the game for about 7 years. I cannot remember how you start the quest for the Little Lamplight. IIRC, that quest will lead you to the slavers camp as well, so I can take them out too. Is this quest found as you progress the main story, or do I have to go looking for the quest? I remember that it was one of my favorite quest, and want to make sure I get that one done.

Thank you for the assistance with this!

NVIDIA Optimized Game and it Sucked

Maybe this will help those that are experiencing issues with frate rate drops, stuttering, and shut downs. I was running the game on the settings recommended by the game for my PC. Ran great with little issues. Once Nvidia Control Center found the game, it optimized the game to what it wanted. I went from 40% CPU, and 50-60% GPU at 120 FPS locked, to 99% CPU and 90% GPU at 200-300 fps. After the optimization, the game ran like crap. Longer loading times, freezing, stuttering, and almost unplayable. Once i reverted the setting in the Nvidia Control Center to back what it was before, it ran so much better. And to me, the game looks almost just as good, as the recommended settings. Maybe this will help someone. Maybe not. Worth looking into if you have these issues.

Blackhole Mass vs. Density

I often read and hear that a Blackhole is infinitely small and is infinitely dense. The infinitely dense portion of the description is where I have a hang up. How can something that is infinitely dense have different masses. If the density is infinite, wouldn't the mass be as well. I know this is not the case, and we can determine the mass of a Blackhole by the size of the event horizon, but still hung up on the infinite density. Wouldn't infinite density have infinite mass?

Also, wouldn't infinite density deform space the same no matter the mass. Once again, I know I am hung up on the term "infinite", but hoping I can gain some clarity to this problem.

As I know, light cannot escape a blackhole if passing the event horizon. Hypothetical:

If you were to pass into a blackhole, past the event horizon, would you see light? This assumes you survived the trip past the event horizon and were still capable of sight. Since light is moving toward the center of the blackhole, would it not be bright with all the light streaming into the blackhole? I am guessing that light would hit your eyes if looking toward the event horizon from the interior. But not sure?
