Call turbo winners at the end of Monday podcasts?

#I just watched 15 minutes of bullshit in Lumberjack video I was expecting to be 33½ minutes.

  1. PDS Debt sponsorship read **2:00**

  2. Driving a Spark out of an office (with tire installation and mirror repair) **4:00**

  3. **LUMBERJACK finally!** **18½** 👍🎇🍻

  4. Merch ads for the Corvette I'll never win (and a 50% chance the winner sells it within 90 days) **1:00**

  5. Lumberjack has the wrong MAP sensor for big power and the cheap Oil Pressure sensor is pulling back the tune, LOL (funny and I'd enjoy that segment if they fixed it and did another pull, but it was just a bunch of giggling before the real content ended). 😴

  6. **NOPE** half a video of turbo winners. **8:00 free ad for Precision** 🙄🤮

I can't wait for 2028 when he stops making all of these painful calls we all skip! Maybe 2028 will have more real content and less unnecessary bullshit. 🎉

Migration failed because I don't have enough space? (Feeling stupid!

I have a DS1520+, and *attempted* to migrate to the DS1525+ but failed. Not my first time; DS212j -> DS216+ ->DS920+ (fresh install with SHR1) -> eBay DS1520+ (easy migration then added an extra drive) -> DS1525+

I moved all 5 HDD and the 2 NVMe cache from the DS1520+, turned it on and expected the typical repair/migrate messages to Pop up, I'd follow the prompts to finish the migration to the DS1525+.

But NO, it failed to migrate because it assumed my pool was full and critical.

* 1 Pool of 5x 8TB HDD.

* 1 Volume (has 4TB of free space)

* 2 Volume dedicated to Surveillance Station, 10x cameras each has a different retention length some 24 hours, some 30 days. (But it automatically deletes the oldest footage when it needs new space, so it does appear full, but Surveillance Station manages Volume 2).

I assumed if I deleted some camera footage proactively it would solve this issue.

Nope, when I put all the HDD and NVMe back into the DS1520+ all of my packages were in a fault-state and required **Repair.**

However each time I attempt to repair a package I get a similar message that my space is full and it won't repair the packages.

#WTF?

I don't understand why this is happening when I clearly have 4TB of empty space in Volume 1, and I can't access Surveillance Station anymore now that it requires a repair. I do not want to delete and start over, it has all of my settings and my logins for music, videos, photos, etc...

I have a ticket in, waiting for Monday working hours. But if the community could explain that stupid mistake I made or needs to be change I'd feel better.

new DS1525+... RAM?

I got a great deal on a DS1525+ for ~$600, and was running a DS920+ with 20GB of RAM. But all the RAM upgrades are half the cost or more than the NAS itself! RAM has been expensive for a while, do I wait 6 months for a black Friday sale, or just try to get on with the stock 8GB RAM?

Can I run non EEC RAM, or mismatched sticks? Ugh!

Can I save Bad Gas?

The car last got gasoline in 2016 (ten years old), the car still starts (it has a retrofit fuel injection from a 1996 Mustang with very strong multi spark ability.

I last drove the car 2 years ago out of the garage to be demolished and rebuilt better than before.

Today I moved the can out of the way for a tree to be cut down; **but the exhaust SMELLED BAD,** it was running rich and the **unburnt fuel had that bad gas funk!** There were a few bad backfires that wanted to blow the muffler as I was making sure no animals built a nest in the exhaust, plus I love the way it sounds past 4,000RPM!🥰 I'll have to move the car again in a couple weeks to complete some of the garage HVAC.

#Is there an additive that will work on 10 year old fuel?

Or am I stuck draining it iut

Cheap 289 replacement

The original 289 won't be cheap to rebuild after sitting for 35 years, even then it would still be a stock 1960s 289 with too much cast iron accessories! I'd rather start with a low mileage Ford Explorer 5.0L with a roller camshaft, and strip it down. Then bolt it back cheaper than thousands of dollars at a machine shop!

Add a 1983 Mustang *GT350* intake manifold **(by name only,** Carroll Shelby was selling 4cyl FWD Dodge Chargers🤮 ) but this intake has a stock Ford casting, it's light weight aluminum, and should look stock with black paint!

Modern version of the Holley 4 Barrel Carburetor 600 CFM Electric Choke # 80457S. Save the original with the engine in a protective bag.

Period correct Tri-Y Headers to drop the cast iron manifolds (cast iron is the enemy, want to be under 3,000lbs total)

Get a new 289 HiPo Chrome air cleaner and valve covers. Obviously replace the points with an electronic ignition inside the distributor. But not adding an ugly MSD Box on the shock tower!

I'm still looking for a set of 1990s Ford Motorsport J302 aluminum cylinder heads. Those older aluminum cylinder heads still had that OEM cast look, all the new aluminum cylinder heads are smooth with sharp corners from the CNC process cutting off the unnecessary material from a chunk of aluminum. I need that cast look if l'm going to paint it black and pretend it's still a stock 289.

I can at least add roller rockers to the cast GT40P cylinder heads (if the budget has to keep them), but I'm not sure how the offset spark plugs will work with the Tri-Y Headers?

ASUS GPU 6pin fan header limits?

I'm considering removing the plastic fan shroud and cheaper original fans, and mounting dual 120mm Noctua fans under my 175watt Nvidia GPU.

I've found PCI slot mounts for 120mm fans, and adapters that combine dual 4-pin PWM connector fans into that single factory 6-pin header on the GPU board.

**But** what is the current limit for that connection? Would dual 1.08watt/0.9AMP fans be too much? The cheap factory fans were labeled 0.5AMPS

I got this teaser picture of my 65 fastback panels in primer, it's supposed to be done in 6 months, 100% rust free original Ford panels from 64-66, (spent a few years looking for a replacement door and front fenders at swap meets).
