What upgrades should I make to my bike?

I picked up this 1996 Claud Butler Enduro bike for £30. So far, I've replaced the worn bottom bracket, chain, tyres, saddle, replaced the cantilevers with v-brakes. I've put on a new set of pedals and plan to swap out the handlebar and install a front basket.

It's running a Shimano Altus c50 3x6 groupset, which I'm debating replacing with a 3x7 or 1x10 groupset, as well as replacing the grip shifters and brake levers.

Any recommendations on upgrades, or specific component upgrades and what they'll require? I don't know too much about building bikes and am fortunate to be learning from other bike builders as well as YouTube. Any advice appreciated :)

What to do with TV table/how to fit a desk?

So my partner and I are moving into this flat next month and are super excited to decorate! We're thinking comfy cosy maximalist, but still practical.

Space is limited and we want to A. not have a TV on the TV table (grey table on the left in pic 1) and B. fit a desk (it's a standing desk that we don't mind customising/replacing) somewhere that doesn't look out of place/fit with the vibe we're going for.

What could we do with the TV table/desk to make them purposeful but not look out of place?

How to optimise layout in this flat?

How can I optimise the layout of this flat? The grey table in the corner is meant to have a TV on top, but we aren't planning to have a TV so want to think of an alternative use for it. We can't get rid of furniture so it'll have to be stored somewhere.

Also, we'd like to put a desk somewhere if possible but unsure where it could fit. Any help appreciated!
