Any recommendations on the best local pest control? My yard is overrun with mosquitoes and wasps keep getting inside my house as well as other insects.

I just read the how to restore FAQ and wondering if after the vinegar soak to remove the rust would I still need to strip/use the yellow cap cleaner? It doesn’t look like it got much use. Little bro probably only used it a handful of times.
