Helldiver Dad Had an Incredible Time Last Night.

What’s up Helldivers!

I don’t get a lot of time these days to play video games working full time and raising three kids under five, including an infant!

I made a fun loadout last night but it’s hugely depended on having a gunner.

On the bug front I chose the new Ironclad light armor with the Hyena, grenade pistol, and new fire grenade.

My strategems were the Maelstrom, Spear, Supply FRV, and an Exosuit.

My teammates understood the assignment and we were absolutely slaying the bugs with the new tank. One gunner, and another with the laser cannon and melta mines.

When I was in the FRV I was swapping seats and downing titans with the spear or closing bug holes with the grenade pistol. As soon as the tank was done I had another vehicle ready.

Our last mission we cleared the map at 30 seconds to go. I called in the FRV and everyone piled in and we made it across the map to extract.

Sessions like these are what truly make this game special. The organic interactions between teammates using emotes and the comm wheel can be truly hilarious.

Thankful I have a game that respects my time and is usually quite hilarious and cinematic.

Need Help Identifying Equipment for Public Safety Dive Team

Hello divers,

I have recently taken over as Dive Commander for my agency’s underwater recovery team.

The team needs a lot of love and what used to be a stacked team is now down to three of us; we are all passionate about the team!

Last year we got new dry suits and this year I’m proposing new regulators. I need to figure out how old the regulators are. This will help me out with the proposal.

Future Family Heirloom Appreciation Post

Hello fellow CRK fans. I’m 2020 I was able to score an Inkosi cerakoted in FDE. I always wanted a Sebenza but jumped on the opportunity to own something unique. Knife was great but I ended up ordering a micarta 31 straight from the factory.

Two years later in 2022 I get a phone call but my family was financially struggling. I made the decision to pass on it and shortly after my daughter was born I placed an order for a plain Jane.

Four years later I get the phone call it was about to be in production. I definitely was getting it this time and in August my son is going to be born. I decided to get his name engraved on it and give it to him on his 18th birthday. Surprisingly I also got my forever flag Sebenza I ordered in 2024, it was like Christmas.

Now that I have been carrying them in my pocket, they are truly something special. The ergonomics, the Magnacut steel, and the craftsmanship are something to be admired.

For our maternity photos we had some by a flower bed and my daughters were picking wild flowers. The photographer suggested I take a photo of the knife. It turned out great, had to share this.

Here’s to keeping CRKs as family heirlooms; can’t put a value on that!
