Alright so I feel I need to specify I'm from the Yorke Peninsula (not specifying where but I'm not too far from Adelaide) so I'm not a city boy.

I've been staying down in the city for studies a couple days a week and the dorm I stay at while I'm there uses Superloop which is so much faster (little under 20ms-40ms when I'm playing games) compared to what I get with Telstra at home (60ms-100ms when I'm playing games). I understand that I'm in the city compared to being in the country but I've also heard from a few grape vines that Superloop is also just generally faster than Telstra. So that got me thinking: Would there be any better internet plans for my family to use? Or are we kinda just fucked and forced to use Telstra? Cuz I know that Telstra's got the biggest grasp on Australia's internet market.

I know I sound like I'm mainly doing this for myself for when I come back home (and truth be told it kinda is), but my family also complains about slow download speeds and whatnot, especially my mom (who works as a DJ on the side and needs to download multiple tracks to mix)
