Has Anyone Had Any Luck Transferring KIA Warranty From the US To Canada?

After relocating from the US to Canada and bringing my KIA over with me, I was informed that my warranty is US specific and does not transfer to KIA Canada. I am getting the run around with both KIA US and Canada in trying to find a resolution, but I am curious as to whether anyone here has been successful in transferring their warranty over? Thank you, all.

Where to get residual US mobile phone connection, Peace Arch or Southlands (Tsawwassen)?

Hi everyone,

I am attempting to activate a US phone while in Canada for which I need to connect to a US cellular town. I understand that it may be possible to pick up a residual connection by the border and I am wondering whether anyone has any experience in this and can recommend a place that offers me the best chance of connecting to a US phone tower here?

Thank you, all.

Moved from the US to Canada - Want to maintain US number and access

Hi everyone,

I have moved from the US to Canada. I have a US line with Spectrum which is used minimally and which I would like to cancel for two reasons; 1: high cost, and 2: Spectrum does not allow for the addition of this line as an eSim on a Canadian iPhone 17 Pro with dual sim capability.

The full set of circumstances are as follows:

  • I will be predominantly using my Canadian line on the Canadian purchased 17 Pro.
  • I would like a secondary US line to be added on the phone to take advantage of its dual sim capability (carriers such as Spectrum do not allow for this, whereas T Mobile do).
  • I would like to keep my US number with access to text/talk/Whatsapp.
  • Payment to be made with a card attached to a Canadian billing address (Spectrum and T Mobile only accept cards US billing addresses). For expense purposes, the bill must be settled with this card that is attached to a Canadian billing address.
  • I have a US address to use for account set up purposes.

Does anyone have any experience or is able to provide any guidance in this regard?

Thank you, all.

Unable to add Spectrum eSim to unlocked iPhone 17 Pro for dual eSim use - Spectrum specific limitation?

Hey everyone,

I have a Canadian TELUS mobile line on the iPhone 17 Pro (purchased in Canada) and would like to add a US Spectrum Mobile line too as part of the dual sim feature. The device is unlocked and the Spectrum line is an eSim line on a 13 mini. It does not allow me to add eSim onto the new phone in the normal manner. I have contacted Spectrum regarding this on several different occasions, however, they have been unable to complete the process, stating that the 17 Pro, after inputting the IMEI, is only compatible with a physical sim. The 17 Pro is eSim only and so it appears to be a Spectrum specific issue. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thank you.
