Is it wrong to dislike "everyone is fucked but especially you" style of RPGs and settings?

I know I kinda talked about this before but now I kinda wonder if I'm some kind of coward for wanting to avoid RPGs themed around some inevitable downward spiral for either your character or society. Reflected in the mechanics by sanity, money, corruption, humanity, esc. But also in setting and lore, too. Doesn't a dystopia inherently assume we're all just slaves to history?

I feel like my perspective on life and the world is actually already pessimistic and nhilistic enough. Mildly fatalistic too, I think everything is cause and effect and that if a better world was possible, it would have happened already.

What particular traits do you prefer to see in your ships?

Like what kind of stats or abilities you like to see the most.

I think I'm really struggling to flesh out my own playstyle....

Preferably the traits you like to see in your own personal flagship, or whichever ship you consider the most important to your doctrine.

Are limb wraps usually worth it?

2 whole dressings for temporary minor protection may be a bit much, but it does seem like the easiest way to get any clothing on you in the first place, and said dressings are probably not that hard to replace. And the description doesn't lie; they do make you look cool as fuck.

Moved from Georgia to Boulder a few years ago. I thought I'd love living somewhere high and dry, but I've never felt comfortable with the idea of staying here. How do I know I belong here?

Title kinda says it. In about a day I will need to decide on if I should stay here in Boulder, Colorado or not. Moved here for school a while back, I thought it would be great but I don't think I've ever been truly content here, and I don't really know why. I think the town is pretty great on its own, so I think my concerns are just environmental. Going from heavily forested suburbs to what feels more like a strange oasis in a state that's otherwise half amazing mountains, half desert.

At the same time, I just can't imagine a reason why moving back to Georgia or even elsewhere would be better. Any reason I can think of could just be the result of bias, and biased feelings towards here was how I ended up here in the first place. For all I know, this may as well be as good as it gets. I still feel like I need change in my life, my advisors and friends agree, but I don't know if leaving would be the right call.

So, what do I try to consider when deciding on whenever to stay or go?
