I have what appears to be an original backpacker Guitar with the smaller head stock. It says the serial number is 35, 260 just like that with a space in between the comma
Can anyone tell me what year this one was manufactured?
At this point, I’m fairly convinced that many of the “likes“ I get come from bot accounts, most likely run by Poshmark.
I make sales occasionally and the ones who buy have a pretty active looking account. Although I realized that not everyone who buys on the app sells on the app so that can be a possibility in some cases.
But recently, and especially when the “action“ has died down a little, I will get likes from accounts that have seemingly been there for years, with zero sales, nothing in their closet, etc.
My suspicion is that Poshmark does this to keep sellers engaged. Give the false impression of “oh people are interested in my stuff”
I’ve also noticed that when anyone asks for specific measurements beyond what is shown, they are not a serious buyer. Like asking you to measure “pit to pit”.
So now, if they do this, I will say sure I’m glad to do that for you… What number are you looking for? If they disappear from the conversation, I know it was a troll.
I need a 55SH Series II repaired. (Someone said the series elevens were the best!)
But seriously. I think either the switch or the capsule needs to be replaced.
Does anyone know if there has been a design update to the 55SH Series II at any point? Did they release one with more of a chrome looking finish rather than the traditional brushed steel look?
