Is repurposing an old channel a bad idea?

I have a channel that I posted a few videos to about 5 years ago. Nothing real successful about 100 subscribers and 10k views on a few of the videos over the years. They still get a few views a day. I just didn't really keep up with it.

Recently I've been posting videos on a regular schedule as part of a series with a bit more intent than these older videos. I've just been posting them to the same old channel because I didn't feel like creating a new one and because I may do some callbacks to the older videos. but now I'm wondering if an old channel may have baggage that will affect the success of my new efforts?

These are not the same book. "Paladin Press" CC edition of There Is No Antimemetics Division

I couldn't find any information on this so I figure I'd make some reddit posts so others could learn from my mistake. Despite having the same title, the same author and being listed on the same amazon page these are not the same book.

The version you are likely looking for is on the left, hardcover published by Ballantine Books. The version on the right is just the exact text from QNTM's posts on https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/

I prefer paperback because heavier books hurt my wrists, but I didn't realize I was getting a completely different book.

The "CC edition" is supposedly published by Paladin Press in 2026 although I was under the impression that they went under many years ago.

I don't really mind having both to compare the changes and I recognize that yes the stuff on the wiki is CC and this may very well be legal, but this feels very underhanded. And then it was strange finding no information whatsoever about this other edition.

I only have about 12 hours in this game. Was I just too close to the wall/ground?
