Despite claims that most men are doing more in the household, the divorce rate is _still_ going up...

Before the ink dries on the marriage certificate, the marriage is doomed. Sounds gloomy doesnt it? Thats how the game goes. Whether rich or poor, probability of a lot of fellas getting divorced is getting high.

In fact its going to be so high, I anticipate refunds from those ridicolous roora lists we see circulating. Lol. Its quite hilarious hearing someone living in an 3rd world economy with a GDP growth rate of 1% (which is also fake as the roora pics we see on social media 🤣) complain they are not getting a Kim K lifestyle they see on IG. 🤣 I mean yeah we all want to have the finer things but wow. Unemployment is cited as divorce grounds btw. Living in an economy where the Foreign Direct Investment to GDP ratio is barely 3%!! Even your neighbours dont buy into investing here despite "supporting" Zim! 🤣

Anyways social media has done probably the most damage to relationships & will continue to do so. We never discussed how our greatest leap in communication led to an assault on our identity & culture. I guess that conversation will be tough either ways. Soon polygamy will be a thing all over again like back in the day except with a twist. Also with the rise of services like Only Fans lol. Its going to be a cesspit lol

Of Innovation and Regulations...

Reminds me when the car was first invented & how in the UK they had someone walk in front of the car with a red flag to warn other pedestrians & horses. 🤣 A fight induced by competitors to fight technology.

They even tried to ban Bitcoins here but decided they should be registered (for obvious tax & compliance reasons).

Drones are for certain institutes to teach & licence.

Now you cant buy a housing stand without Zesa metering your home. Why? Because people were opting to buy solar & live off grid!

What does the future hold for service delivery for government when the ombudsman is digital & anonymous?

Freedom of speech is digital.

News is reported by the citizens not to them.

Government spending is easy to track through blockchain.

Worse yet, if elections are to be done digitally by block chain. Thats a hot potato.

Which way forward Zim?

To actual think at one time Zim had the finest health facilities in Sub Sahara post independence & in the 90s.

Even neighbouring countries had patients being treated in Zim. Professor Chinyanga who recently died this past month was the one who led Zim to its first open heart surgery program in 1989. He was conferred hero status but the family opted not to have him buried at the Heroes Acre. He did so much to shape our medical faculties at UZ,NUST and MSU. Now we are reduced to a laughing stock for SAns who dont have a clue about how this leads to more people looking for health facilities in South Africa. Its like fetching water with a basket. Problems in Zim easily become problems in SA. I wonder how this will continue after all we cant vote at all now.

Unongoona nefesi yacho kuti boys re Gospel ne sober sense

I bet this guy has never done anything wrong in his life until this devastating news .Did all the best for himself, his extended family, wife & kids. Paid his taxes & dues on time. Sent kids to expensive private schools in UK. Had a hardworking wife & an expensive home. Nobody saw this coming. Except when divorce was whispered & offers made.

Gents mental health is important. Families are not property. If she wants out,it is what it is. Dont listen to those phonies who say a woman is beneath you, lets pray about it, arikuhura chete etc. Zvirinani kubatsirwa than this. Mabhebhi haapere at the end of the day. My condolences to the family that lost their loved ones.

If Zim had a chance to choose between Southern & Eastern bloc of Africa which way would it go now?🤔

Hear me out....There has always been this talk about Zim becoming a province for SA & how it was turned down to be a self gorvening country & so on. How Sadc helped & so on Nobody mentions how much the Eastern bloc specially Mozambique & Tanzania played pivotal roles for Zims Independence. Mozambique escalated the war in Zim after their independence in 1975 even lost trade & people for it!Tanzania outright disobeyed other frontline states & trained & housed liberation fighters. Relations were strong then & seemed destined to grow but I guess situations changed.

So a survey was once done in SA (I cant seem to find it now but I will keep looking)The thing is our Southern neighbour dont feel neighbourly for some time now (like from 1980) so SAns were asked if they were cool with Zim joining the East African bloc. The responses were quite stunning! It wasnt received well thats all I can say. When we say joining the Eastern bloc its countries like Mozambique,Tanzania,Kenya,Rwanda etc. Those countries economies are growing faster than the whole of SADC & they have better economic intergration & diplomacy. SADC is just clinging to old infrastructure even Botswana who has better democratic structure is still not developing in terms of populations & innovation! (Its being held back by SA but thats another discussion for another day)

No matter how we spin this, its time to face reality. We are probably not getting any value being in SADC now or in the future Already economic forecasts are down due to SAs instability both internally & their foreign affairs. SA is a mess & to be honest its dragging us with it. Its time to smell the coffee.

I wonder how many Zimbos see this as well & what are your thoughts? I doubt if many ever thought about this but remember borders were & still are a colonial construct that didnt factor majority populaces so thats that.

So...the Polygamist is just 50 shades of Grey:Africa?

First of all its really messed up that Bob & his cronies wrecked our media houses & studios. That was a billion dollar industry to write & sell our stories. The Censorship & Entertainment Board (yes Zim has one, crazy stuff) just like to feed the people washed up propaganda on our media outlets. Its like we never left the 80s!! The other day some white guy told me we still use old English which cant be found worldwide in media e.g big wig, tomfoolery & my favourite "fingered" in the big 2026! Anyways congrats to Sue, wish it had happened here but it will hit to close to home like no pun intended lol. What a waste.
