Sleeping (bed)

As soon as I go into bed, like my mid-back (like inner trapezoid, or like the shoulder blade part) just feels so like achey. I don’t know how to describe it. But it just feels like I need a a massage kind of thing, like very uncomfortable painful feeling.

Does anyone have any advice on how to sleep? It would be greatly helpful Thankyou.

Best certificates for Tech, etc

Hey guys, I’m looking to get a job in Japan after a I graduate next year from Computer science.

I was looking into getting some AWS certificates but I wanted to ask if that would be important for getting a job in Japan.

What are from other certificates I should learn, projects I should work on, what languages or frameworks I should learn etc.

Thanks

Work in Japan (BCF, etc)

Hey guys. I’m currently a dual citizen with Canada and Japan (from birth). I’m currently in my undergraduate Computer science minoring in philosophy and am looking for a job once I graduate next year in Japan. (To experience life, etc, maybe for a year to a couple years).

I wouldn’t mind any job but more specifically in the lines of tech, business, analyst, consulting, etc that would give me good experience.

I’m probably about a N3-4 level (haven’t taken it). Although I’m Japanese, and fluent. I just don’t know a lot of complicated words and my kanji is rough (no accent tho). But in the next year with effort I think I could easily reach N1-2 if required.

I was hoping to get some advice when it comes to acquiring jobs…
- what sites should I use
- is Boston Career Forum worth going
- what certificates or skills should I work on
(I currently have none but am looking to get some AWS done this summer - would that be important?)
- what programming languages, frameworks, projects would be good?
- any other general advice for helping me to get a job in Japan

I would greatly appreciate any advice, thanks redditors you guys are always the best. No

Building projects

Hey guys, I’m currently a Computer science student and I want to start building projects.

While I have a lot of the technical skills to acctually code stuff, I have little knowledge on really the process of starting to complete projects.

Like I know you kind of build a GitHub repository for every project but from there… what the hell do I do.

Like for websites do I buy a domain, are there other apps for that, building normal applications etc. like what’s the process of this in order to show recruiters I have the technical abilities to build projects etc.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone can point me into a direction or has like a tutorial etc. Thankyou

Tricep muscle twitching

My tricep muscle is constantly twitching and feels achey on the side of the cubical tunnel arm. Is this related, should I be concerned? Is it muscle atrophy related?

Muscle Growth —> cubical tunnel

Could it possibly be the case that excessive muscle growth from weightlifting in the triceps cause this ulnar nerve issue?

Ulnar nerve, shoulder winging, a bit of scoliosis?

Hi guys, so I have a history of left-sided scapular winging and mild scoliosis, with my left shoulder sitting slightly lower than my right. Recently, I’ve been experiencing worsening symptoms involving my left arm and hand, especially during or after a push/pull workout, and particularly tricep, shoulder and chest workouts (whenever my elbow is fully extended I get like a burning/tingling kind of sensation down my arm)

My left forearm feels weak and heavy, especially around the elbow area, and my tricep also appears weaker or visibly smaller compared to the other side. My left grip strength is like 10-fold worse than my right. My whole arm in particular is weaker than my right and looks much smaller.

At times, my hand seems to “clamp” or curl inward involuntarily, especially affecting the ring finger and pinky side.

When I try to fully open my hand and spread my fingers apart, I have difficulty bringing some of the fingers back together properly, particularly involving the pinky and thumb/ring finger coordination. I’ve also noticed reduced fine motor control — for example, using chopsticks has become more difficult recently.

The symptoms feel more like weakness/heaviness and loss of coordination rather than just pain. But lately my elbow feels very achey and kinda painful.

Also at night, often my triceps muscle like twitches.

I have an EMG referral but since I’m in Canada it might be like months. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or know anything I can do for now. Or how I can continue weight lifting etc. thankyou guys 😊
