How do you usually judge if a prop firm is worth trying?

I’ve been spending some time researching different prop firms lately, and one thing I keep noticing is how easy it is for a firm to look great on the surface but feel completely different once you dig into the actual rules.

Some have attractive evaluation fees, but then the drawdown limits feel too tight or the payout rules raise questions. Others seem more expensive upfront but offer conditions that feel more realistic for long-term trading.

Lucid Trading is one of the firms I’ve been looking into recently. I noticed some traders discussing their evaluation pricing and mentioning AUDIT in the process, which got me thinking less about discounts and more about what actually makes a firm worth trusting.

For those with more experience, what do you usually look at before deciding a prop firm is worth trying? Is it mostly payouts, trading restrictions, reputation, or something else?

I’m trying to be more careful before committing to another challenge.

Why do AI systems still struggle to interpret uncertainty in human conversation?

One limitation I keep noticing in conversational AI systems is how they handle uncertainty in human communication.

They perform well when input is structured and intent is clear, but things become less reliable when users are unsure, changing direction mid-thought, or expressing ideas indirectly.

In most current systems, each message is treated as if it carries the same level of confidence, even though in real conversations that is rarely the case.

Human communication often includes hesitation, partial statements, corrections, and shifts in intent. These signals can completely change the meaning of what is being said, but they are not explicitly modeled in most language-based systems.

This raises a broader question about how conversational AI should be designed: whether systems should continue relying mainly on text interpretation, or whether additional contextual signals are necessary to better reflect real human interaction.

Where do you think the current approach is falling short, and what would actually improve it without overcomplicating system design?

Has anyone here tried tracking eye strain changes in a structured way over time?

I’ve been experimenting with being more consistent about it lately, especially since I spend long hours on screens daily.

Instead of just going by “feeling,” I started logging things like eye fatigue at the end of the day, how quickly strain builds up, and whether I notice differences after long reading or screen sessions.

What’s been interesting is how much normal variation there is some days feel better or worse for no obvious reason, so short-term impressions haven’t been very reliable.

Overall, it’s made me think tracking might matter more than relying on day-to-day perception.
